Yes but if Lala is £20mill
    and Lamb is £4mill

25% of each is £5mill and £1mill respectively.

If they make Lamb £8mill and Lala £16mill.
    25% of each is £2mill and £4mill.

Either way- Saints are having to give £6mill of the transfer fees to someone else. The only difference is who gets the money.

Now... this may not e completely accurate information... if Lambert is only 20% for example- Spurs may say several hundred thousand by shifting some of the transfer fee to Lambert instead of Lala. They won't save a huge amount of money... and it would be risky since any they save may be spent on legal fees instead if Bournemouth protest.

  2. Isn't that why Lovren is in there too?

    Is he similar to Carroll?

Can Lambert play fast attacking football?

IF Lovren is included in the deal- then assuming he has no sell on fee- inflating his fee at expense of other two would make sense. I've not seen anything as concrete about Lovren yet though.

Why don't we just annex Southampton... be a lot easier. Add a couple extra small splashes of white to our kit- play a couple of home games each season for the next few years at their stadium to keep their fans happy. We get all their players.

This way they don't have to dismantle- and Rodgers is closer to owning the England national team.

  10. TBH, I'd be happy to see us sign Lovren, Lambert and Lallana for a combined £31m. Three good players and the squad is majorly boosted. Just hope there is money for another one or two

Does any one of them boot someone put of the starting team though? They're good but not great. I really hope we get a big signing too

  12. Lambert is more proven in England than Eto'o was. Eto's was previously in a league as bad as Scotland!

Hilarious if you're a bit slow, given Lambert scored more than Eto'o last season like

Also Eto'o the proven winner won what last season exactly?

  15. As much as I'd love us to sign top quality players that would be seen as automatic choices, it is a squad game and these players would be challenging for a first team position. IMO, that is a good move. My comment about money being left was about getting a quality player in.

Last season you had players who surnames started with the letter S, now it seems you are intent on signing players who surnames begin with the letter L.
Sturridge, Suarez and Sterling now Lovern, Lallana and Lovren. ;)

Hahahahaha, nice you can edit Gerrez. lol

The clause on Lallana's deal is definite and well documented , not sure if it the same with lambert, even if there was must be a lot less than 25%.
There's a high price being quoted for Lovren too, and he's apparently our first choice for a cb.

So a triple deal is very likely. But one things is for certain, there's no way in hell FSG would pay 9million for a 32yr old.
Im sure the right details will be leaked once the deals go through.
