Do you honestly believe that Lallana and Shaw won't go as well along with probably Lovren and Schneiderlin.

 

The problem is that all we are hearing is negative bollox all the time and nothing positive,for me so far the board has not done enough.

We rejected bids for Lallana and Shaw because they didn't offer the money we wanted. If they're willing to part with a couple mil more, they will be off...something that Krueger largely confirmed yesterday.

 

Renewals end tomorrow.

Sorry... wasn't my intention. I liked what Southampton did, and achieved this past season, and certainly owe them no malice. It seems a huge shame that such a spirited and melded team may be split apart. I genuinely hope that you lot can continue to be an impressive side in the league again next year!

My somewhat ITK Liverpool supporting mate says the deal is intended to be £4m for Lambert and another £5m that's really for Lallana but is being lumped onto Lambert so Bournemouth don't get a cut.

So what if they do? If they want to go they can go. I would be gutted if they do go but **** happens. Long as we still have a club and the board invest. If not and they sell a **** load of players and pocket the cash then we can take action.

 

when a news agency reports that a club is close to agreeing a deal, does that mean they are close to paying what is asked or that the selling club is close to caving in?

surely they cannot predict a compromise.
