If you sell Lambert and Lallana and with Rodriguez out you need to buy players in the Summer that are going to score in the region of 40 goals, because they sure aren't going to come from elsewhere in our squad. That's either going to be a) very difficult b) very expensive c) impossible

Can anybody reember a successful team being under threat of so many rumours (many from reliable sources) in the Premier League era?! Happened to WHU when they got relegated but we finshed 8th ffs!

 

Problem with most Saints fans is they lose their **** whenever something they see as bad happen. As I have said before I am neither a pessimist or happy clapper. I tend to take it how it comes and the act as I feel, there is no point in always looking for the worse.

 

While it's hard to argue with the price, and it's hard to argue with Rickie wanting to go to his boyhood team, this is starting to seem a bit asset strippy.

New plan: **** the first team. Play the youth. All the youth. Give them contracts we would give key senior players. I'm talking 17/18 year olds on 40k. We'll probably have a couple of crap seasons, probably get relegated, but in four or five years we'll have some "class of '92" **** on our hands.
