    Not sure that I can agree with that. He's never had pace and is probably in better shape than he ever has been. He could be just as good in his late 30s.

    Crazy to think some on here are actually happy with this. It's like you think somehow you're going to get a cut of the money. This is Rickie Lambert for crying out loud. You know, the legend? Oh untill someone offers a few quid and all of a sudden he's a 'squad player'. Do you think we'll get another striker for the money that will contribute 23 goals next season? And that's even if the money is reinvested. Which i doubt it at this rate.

    So let's all be happy that the club are getting rid of everyone (if Lambert does go he certainly won't be the last) and have to start next season with a frigging whole new squad, because that always works wonders doesn't it.

    Sorry, but i'm gutted about this if it's true.
