    Well...2013/14 season is now finished.

With Fleetwood beating Burton 1-0.....that completes a good double for Argyle for next season.

No away trips to Fleetwood or to Gatehead next season.......that knocks a few miles off the green armies mileage that will save a quid or two in travelling.

Buxton??? Who the F*** are Buxton.......(it's been a long season I know).

Without looking it up, haven't the teams that finished next outside the auto promotion places all gone up? Seems fair doesn't it. I looked at the crowd for today's match for a Wembley outing. Absolutely shocking at 14,007. We took nearly 3 times that on our own for our day out.

If you look up Burton what do you find.......

    Mens Retailers
    Biscuits
    Beer

And oh yes it's a small town....population of 43,000......how the hell is an overblow village doing playing pro football...let alone competing for promotion to Div 1.

It puts our situation into perspective doesn't it....

    PS....Just checked.....Fleetwood....population of.....wait for it......26.000....

Buxton (pop. 20,800) is a nice little town I'll have you know. Victorian spa town, in the Peak District National Park, opera house, the Devonshire Dome, which must have been the grandest horse stable in the world at one time.....

I spent a romantic couple of days there once. Bloody freezing. The weather I mean.

Next season Argyle will travel 11,653 miles for away games, that is an extra 677 miles than this past season.

That will be an average of 506 miles per game.

Carlisle will be the furthest at 778 miles.....followed by Hartlepool at 774 miles then....York,Morecambe Accrington and Tranmere.

Remember also that Gatehead and Fleetwood could have been destinations as well...the first losing the Conference play-off and the second winning the Div2 play-off.

Also announced are the youth teams opponents in their group in the Milk Cup in N Ireland. in late July.

    They are.......

    Sydney United (Aus)
    North Dublin SC
    A Japanese FA select.

I see the attack team are out again.......don't know why you bother cause the Tilller Girls ain't gonna let you win or join the gang. She who must not be upset has to be protected and treated differently cause her claws are sharp and her spite has no limits.

11,653 in a season... divide by 23 equals an average of 506 miles per trip.....577 miles more than last season.....could of been worse.

Just need an even playing field sensible..........your friend seems to be beyond the law.....one of the untouchables it seems.

It is so glaringly obvious that it surprises me so few seem to see it plym. I love the references to Animal Farm and the porky ones who rule but how some can't see the mirror image is frankly bizaar. There are a handful who can do anything and want to control the subjects and how they go. If you don't take the same line then it's set the dogs on them and they do all turn up and join in. What puzzles me is why. Make the point about similarities and they all go into snarly meltdown. They spend their lives whinging and moaning and then classify that as the crime of the century if somebody moans in their direction. Priceless. I'm told some of the PMs would cause a war if published. If they say it in private then they should be prepared to say it in public. However, shortage of dangly bits prevents that.
