    Well Big Vic is backtracking now - may have come in for a bit of flack! (mainly here!)

    This afternoon, Wanyama moved to dampen the reaction to the words, writing on his Twitter page: “I have been miss quoted [sic] they didn't get my point”.

    The 22-year-old did not expand on which part of the interview he was unhappy about.

    I find it hard to believe, he doesn't exactly fit their style. If it's true they're going for him it's probably some sort of ploy to try and get the Lallana deal back on.

    It's fabricated. Has to be. Just like 99% off all transfer rumours! Just because it's in yellow doesn't make it true.

    8-10mil is an outrageous amount for a 32 year old though (if it was true)
