I guess it makes sense, our most productive period was playing in that seagull-**** Jackson Pollock number in the early nineties :emoticon-0105-wink:
Imagine Redmond in this, it would be like getting skinned by a bag of frozen peas! <yikes>

(P.S. This is actually Spanish club La Hoya, from near Murcia - I wonder if this is what Monarch wears to the golf course? He lives near there.)

    good grief!

    that is, umm, yeah!

    lovely! <laugh>

can't remember whose kit it was a few years ago (italian club i think) but they had a six-pack graphic on the front of the shirt (the muscle variety as opposed to beer). looked hilarious.

I quite liked the most recent one. Shame it'll always remind us of the dreadful season we've had though.

yeah, those strange half and half collars are hideous. and didn't they try to 'reinvent' the shorts the other year, by making the back longer than the front?! hopefully its just hearsay. i quite like all the errea stuff - they've made some pretty classy strips although i wasn't particularly a fan of the current shirt but our first shirt after promotion with the v-neck was beautiful - instant classic.

If it is Macron, what's the betting that they're cheaper than Errea to produce, so the club make more profits from shirt sales? <whistle>

What, to offset the gaping deficit from TV appearance money following relegation? <laugh> <ok>

i'd like to stick with errea or if not, move to someone of a similar ilk. much better than having some generic 'off the peg' design that most clubs have when they sign a deal with nike or whoever who often fail keep with tradition (for example, i think west brom are having no stripes next season because adidas decided to change it) or just offer up something bland that some other team also has, but in a different colour (for example, charlton's kit last season was exactly the same as man united's away kit, but reversed).

Errea are actually a huge kit manufacturer - though primarily in Volleyball. But anyone who has half an idea of Volleyball will know that the number of clubs that play professionally in Europe shadow football by a long stretch, so a pretty big powerhouse on the continent

Also, Macron don't exactly inspire much but then again we had to put up with some dross i.e. Mitre for the past few years and they occasionally had a bit of creativity and made a half decent kit.

Macron is a brand that a lot of village sides go to in the ipswich area, reasonable pricing, not a bad kit product just not to the standard of bigger producers.
