Thought it was common knowledge Ive had GFs and the Mrs (am married) paint my face before. For the right occasion of course
Ah, the lesser known bearded lady-boy. (S)he who brings out the very best out of the insecure c-untry (sic) of Russia.
Is that the Austrian who won Eurovision then? From the way BBC world service described him/her- I expected more of a beard.
Yes. Real name Tom Neuwirth stage name Conchita Wurst. Taken from wiki: ''Neuwirth describes himself as a gay man and uses female pronouns to describe his Wurst character, but male pronouns when referring to himself.'' Confused, you will be.
Heard just a few clips of Eurovision this year: Question: since when have all the songs in the Eurovision been in English? Is it required they're in English now- or just everyone choses to use English? When I was a kid I remember [almost] everyone sang in their native language- when did that change?
i cant speak for this year as missed it, but i know it wasn't last year, i guess English being one of the most spoken and recognizable languages, esp when it comes to music, its easier for people to try and understand the song.
I haven't watched it for years. I presume singing in English would maybe lead to a record deal since the big record labels are in English speaking countries??
