all i can find for spurs is figures of 90 to 93 million from 2011 to 2013 and it is diffivult to find a reliable source but this is a key figure for ffp and increasing wages by 4mil is not allowed in one year?

Bit by bit the truth emerges, the FA for choosing a ground they knew had no safety certificate, the ambulance service of Sheffield refusing to send "a fleet" of ambulances at the request of the police who opened the gate which led to the crush twice on the day, and now another piece of the tangled web of lies emerges, Sheffield Wednesday decided saving money was more important than having enough turnstiles and entrances for visiting supporters.

[h=1]Sheffield Wednesday decided against increasing number of turnstiles after receiving £120k estimate for work[/h]

    http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news...-inquests-sheffield-wednesday-decided-7179268

The whole truth about blame widens with every day at the new inquests, but those that covered it up are as much to blame as those outed at the inquests.

    Shower of ****s.

Now then. A report in the AS newspaper states that, wait for it, Spain coach Vicente del Bosque was offered the Manchester United job in April. He turned it down.

If true what does that say? Main job requirements was to be a crusty senior citizen? Short term most important? Zero long term development and they will now spend a shedload?

    Who knows

I see you live in a World where you totally ignore little things called 'facts' - as during that same 3 year period, Spurs sold more players than they bought in.......and the last published wage bill figures showed a reduction. Agents fees would have been more than covered with the £40m transfer surplus btw.....

Except they don't according to the guardian link I gave last night <whistle> however I do think tobes is on the side of right on this one. Spurs have managed their squad reasonably well but it must be said they went nuts randomly buying last summer.

However the point on agents fees and signing on fees is a good on as it does suck finance, I just think they probably could afford it

I'd not seen the 2013 figures, so yes they went up £6m over the previous year, but they still registered a £4m profit and the fees were more than covered by the surplus

They spunked the Bale cash, on a spending spree that was largely misjudged, but the original assertion that they've spent £200m and therefore will be unlikely to have more to invest was totally incorrect

Paulinho at £17m hasn't looked value for money .... so far. Spurs player/wage spending over the last two years £200m and £160m [ish] has seen them moving down not up. Even if they'd doubled that in sales, makes no odds to the point I was making.

Yeah, condolences to the man and his family, was just thinking there's 6 siblings in his will and they might not all want a part of utd and decide to sell their share.

Could cause future boardroom problems at OT.

They own many sorting organisations to divvy up and have already floated utd so while only 10% are owned by others selling another say 20-30% is no harm

    Anyway

Newspapers say spurs have 30 mil to spend which is rather large given thier finances really

So,Fabianski leaves Arsenal for Swansea on a free.

Is Vorm heading our way? He's a decent number two imo.
