Justified and Banshee I've never heard of, so I'll look them up. I really enjoyed The Wire. Look out for 'little finger' from GoT. ;)<ok>

I've been watching Arrow. I'm on season 1, about halfway through. Really enjoying it, so far. I can see why some people don't like it, but I was brought up with comics, superheroes and the DC universe, so I'm loving it! Also spotted some actors from other series I've seen like Battlestar Galactica (more recent incarnation) and Alias. <ok>

I think it was just myself who didn't like Arrow, It was just too long imo and would have been a better series if they had halved the amount of episodes. Too many fillers where they could have just got on with the story.

  4. **** acting and the story line is questionable at times but I thought it was great. I've not seen the cartoons either.

It wasn't just you that disliked it. Cant remember who else it was though.

    Oh right.

My laptop is broken going to try and fix my lads as there's just a problem with the screen connection on that and I think I know how to fix it. the other one though there's a problem with where the power lead plugs in I thought it was the lead but bought a new one and it still won't stay on.

IP torrents are going to get pissed off with me if I don't sort it out soon.

  6. You bought a compatible cable or the right cable? The compatibles don't always work, you should always get the genuine cable.

Starman was really just a "Yes Man" in a helicopter! Great! You've ruined that film for me now.

I'm watching Battlestar Galactica on Netflix. Went through the first couple of seasons pretty quick- but then took about a 6 month long break before season 3. It's all just getting too repetitive and too mushy. Too much "God"ding- even if it is a fictional religion.

Is it worth me continuing- or was the first season the only season worth watching.

It's ridiculous that I've seen every episode of Aircrash Investigation...and know as much about aviation as NTSB investigators!

    Confused boy needs help:

So I went to watch the latest episode of GOT tonight. Sky demand told me this was episode 7 so I started watching it then realised I had seen it.

I can't remember watching it this week, was that last week's? And has GOT not been on this week?

Is it a GoT double bill this week? Was pissed when I woke up extra early on Monday morning to watch it as usual before work.

Getting into Vikings at the moment.

Yeah, remember you saying about the amount of episodes previously. I think you're probably right, but I've seen worse so it didn't bother me too much.

Good question, Milk. I was likewise impressed with the first couple of seasons, and similarly annoyed with the religious undertones / overtones. In answer to your question, the religiosity gets worse and the ending is annoying, unsatisfying and more than a little brainless. If you're the sort of person (I'm not, unfortunately!) who can stop watching a series before its denouement, then I'd not watch it to its 'climax'. <ok>

Nah no double bill unfortunately, just going to re commence airing as normal.
It was Memorial Day in America at the weekend, and over Memorial Day weekend the networks tend to air lots of melodramatic movies and documentaries (I call them "Lost Babies" movies) and the normal scheduling goes out the window.
    It sucks.

Vikings is very good, have watched both seasons so far.....very good.....mmmm Lagatha!! :emoticon-0152-heart

Well that sucks... Vikings is amazeballs and I'm only four eps into the first series. Def recommend it. Yeah that girl is FAF but I don't think they had feminist sexy warriors in actual Viking times like. <laugh>

Thanks, I can stop watching! I shall stop watching- it's hard getting back into it after taking a break from watching it. I liked 1st season a lot... 2nd season was OK but began to get annoying towards the end. What I've seen of 3rd season is just horrendous.

I just want to say that I absolutely hate Daenerys. She's not as bad in the TV show- but she's the one "good" character I really hoped would die in every book.

I'm sure by book 7 she will probably hook up with Jon back in Westeros... but she just seems to be an annoying subplot at the moment that detracts from the story. She's such an annoying bimbo- her and Sansa should just have a lesbian fling and then kill each other.

Spoiler (if you haven't read book 5 don't open this)
[nsfw]I doubt Jon is really dead. Didn't seem convincing- and in an interview when asked about it Martin said "people think he's dead?" as a question. I have theories about who Jon really is- but I won't share it on here [/nsfw]
