What's your definition of "in the frame". To me it seems to mean that some reporter mentioned ML for a manager vacancy for the simple reason that he's out of work. There are over 50 "in the frame" for Celtic job.

He'll get a job somewhere, so let's just wait and see. A job is not a career though.

Very true plastic <ok> If he was a really big manager then they would be fighting for his services much better than just the media making a list of managers out of work or at lesser clubs....He is no martinez or a rodgers that if they were out of work it wont be for that long....

Celtic - One of the bookies favourites and one of his lieutenants, Morten Wieghorst, is thought well of there
Southampton - One of the bookies favourites and listening to fans on the radio this morning and ex-player Benali endorsing him seems like a he would be a popular choice
Grenada - It has been widely reported that he has been offered the job (Much like Louis Van Gaal being "in the frame" for the Man Utd job).
Espanyol and Malaga - Yes, only some newspaper gossip but would anyone be surprised if he was being considered give his popularity and track record in Spain?

What does "in the frame" mean to you?

Martinez and Rodgers left for new jobs in the Premier as current Swansea managers dai, both were lucky to get a chance at Swansea , Martinez started with us in league 1 and Brenden in the Championship I think .

You'd have to be a dipstick not to figure out that Laudrup, like many sacked managers, took a few months off while the pay off from us was sorted out...knowing full well that there would be a number of jobs to go for (if he so wishes) at the end of the season.

According to you he was sacked for breach of contract and unprofessionalism in general. Turns out there was no breach of contract as we had to pay him off...millions!
According to you he's a **** manager who has a bad reputation in the game. What is the bets he lands a job before the start of next season....most likely over the next couple of weeks? <laugh>

Do you want to take that bet Dai?
The loser has to rename himself on Not 606 "Spunk Chops" for a month......you gonna back yourself this time?
    Didn't think so :)

Rodgers couldn't get an interview at League 1 clubs when he was out of work and we took him on. Fact

He was useless however much you squirm and try to dress it up, he was sacked because he was useless and he is having trouble finding another job because of how he was seen to ruin swansea. What has happened to being tipped to manage real or barca.?? he can forget that fantastic dream as the only way he would join them is as a ball boy..<laugh>.....His CV is not that good with a couple of sackings and walking out on another club, wanted for £2m tax fraud...would a top team want that baggage?? that is why he has been ignored and not because he is having a break <laugh> He had enough breaks before he joined the swans and during his time with the swans,<laugh>....Some mug will employ him but it wont be any big team in the prem unless of course they want their team to be in disarray in a short time...<ok>

You speak for Real Madrid and Barcelona now as well as all Jacks do you?
Michael Laudrup topped a poll of who Real Madrid fans would like as their next manager approx. 12 months ago. Fact.

The only way his reputation is damaged is because of our actions....which has damaged our reputation a lot more in many people's opinion and cost us millions!

You wouldn't find a Real or Barca fan who speaks about the man so disrespectfully. Just a few Jacks (despite him delivering our 1st piece of silverware ever).
    It's absolutely ****ing shameful.

You wouldn't find a real or barca fan pleased to see him as their manager either <laugh> They would soon turn against him and not with mild comments like some of us give him but with death threats...and they would mean it as well...Now thats what you call shameful..<laugh>

What is shameful? The death threats of your imagination?
....you seem to believe that once you have uttered some words they become fact.
    You are totally deluded.

To me "in the frame" means having a realistic chance of becoming manager based on the said club showing some interest. e.g. manager is on official short-list.

ML is not one o the favourites for Celtic job. He's around 14-1. That means he as a 1 in 15 chance of getting the job and a 14 in 15 chance of not getting it. As the bookies add on their cut, his chances of getting the job are in reality even less. To me it seems that talk of him getting the job is all based on MW having a connection there. Newspaper speculation is always based around these links.

So, he's been offered one job and is favorite on near favorite for two others, and could get he 4th job. All of that proves that it's mostly crap paper talk. Papers have to print something, so any old crap will do because plenty of fans will believe it.

Anyway, if this post is really "just for Dai", then why not PM him? Or has it been posted to have a go at Dai? Why are you so interested in what Dai has to say? You obviously don't agree with him, so why bother starting a thread about this issue. Maybe you can also start a BR, RM and GM career prospects (just for Dai).

I don't think luck was involved for either of them. They both proved they deserved the job.

I agree. So what's the point of this debate about him being "in the frame" for so many manager jobs?

Dai has been doing down Laudrup and claiming his lack of employment proves that he is "useless" (etc.) for months. Didn't see you criticizing any of that...
If he lands a job over the next few weeks it strengthens my (and others') arguments and weakens Dai's...it's called debate.

If you don't like it you can **** off and write your own thread.

Your post doesn't offend me at all and you are free to debate whatever you want. I'm nt easily offended, especially by people I don't know. LOL. I'm just wondering why you said just for Dai if it's not just for Dai.
