When I first saw BAE I thought we had a good solid player who complemented the team - but he seem to fade badly and quickly towards the end of the season....

 

Perhaps I'm the only one to be disappointed. In the first half of the season he was pure class and was demonstrating the kind of control and passing the rest of our squad could only dream of. I agree completely that he was a liability in the second half of the season and was responsible for a big chunk of our demise but I would still love to know what happened. There is a world class player in there who someone will benefit greatly from in the right circumstances.

 

Just like a certain Moroccan Maverick who shall remain nameless!
