I have seen more annoying...diversity is what makes this board so interesting...so you stand by your posts, as others will stand by their disagreements...this though, is a truly annoying arse...
I'm sure there'll be numerous new roads constructed to access the ground as it is currently green fields. Ensure that the Council name one of them New Loftus Road and then we'll be happy.
Brilliant, we have a winner. I like stadia which aren't called '....Stadium/Arena', but are unique like The Stoop, or The Gabba. This would of course be shortened to The Loft. Perfect.
quickly sold to a billionaire German investor who promptly renames it "LOFTHANSA" TAXIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for turkish
St Judes!!!!!!! My idea, I'll sell it to Tony for £100000000000000000000000000000000000000 or a season ticket for life, whichever is cheaper!
As of December planning permission was going to be requested in late 2014/early 2015, and to have the stadium completed by 2018: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/lond...tadium-at-old-oak-in-west-london-9002273.html
Sorry mate, St Jude's sounds like a hospital, not a sporting arena. As for the Triple A, it does have a nice ring but apparently in the medical world, a triple A is an abdominal aortic aneurysm - a potential fatal condition. The problem with marketing and how to avoid negative associations!
Maybe the decent deal (surprising for our size) we got with Nike was linked to naming rights on the new stadium?
Months ago! Check the record mate, I came up with that nickname 2 years and 8 months ago!! http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/90615-QPR-and-Fulham-May-Consider-Ground-Share
I think the 'Old Oak Stadium' has a ring to it. Perhaps they could build it out of oak like the Globe Theatre...
I'd like The loft, simple and harks back to LR. But the proper title will probably something to do with air Asia or mittal, as I'd expect he has more to do with the stadium than TF, his steel and Amit's concrete.
