Either Dickson or Harding. Both can do a good job for us. Mills could too, but I think he'll be off wanting more first team football.

It should be Harding. He is generally very solid, and is the man in possession. He seems to get a lot of stick but he was in the team of the season, so he can't have been that bad.

Harding, overall last season was very consistent, saw off competition from Dickson and Mills and was voted in Team of the Year

Good question; only I am not sure I know the answer! :emoticon-0108-speec

Mills has been playing in a higher league; obviously not a favourite of Pardew; maybe he will show more to Adkins... like Harding but looks suspect at times and watched him lose the winger drifting along the touchline when the ball on the otherside of the pitch last season (i.e. ball watching).

Have to say Mills is in my Saints team in FM2010 and playing Champions League football for me (even though only rated 1.5 stars) - cannot be that bad...

I think Mills will probably leave. No reason why Harding shouldn't stay in.

Didn't Adkins have Mills on loan at Scunthorpe at one point?

Harding generally had a good season however sometimes I thought he was caught a bit for pace. It's hard to choose between him and Dickson so at the end of the day I'm gonna sit on the fence! ........

Oh alright then ..... Har ... Dickson! (Final answer!)

I do like Harding as at home he has some very good games offensively when we dominate games but when we are under pressure mainly away from home he is found wanting for pace and positional sense ,Dickson for me is better overall with more pace and powers of recovery that are essential for a full back .Prem ahoy !!

Harding is the worst player to play for Saints in my lifetime without a doubt, never have I seen a player with such little defensive capabilities... whilst being a defender in all my days! And those who say he's good going forward, Dickson is still better! - At least he can cross the ball.

Dickson can tackle, is fast, puts 100% in every minute he's on the pitch, can cross, can mark, AND gets forward.

Harding fails to do any of those things accurately for more than a game a season.

There are so many incidents where Harding has been caught out of position or has failed to do his job properly leading to a goal for the opposition, the only time I can remember Dicko doing that was against Man United, the second best team in the world this year! Swindon, Plymouth, Rochdale, MK Dons, Peterborough x2, The list goes on! Can't believe he's still here, Bristol City were interested in him in January 'apparently', take him! We'll have Maynard or Woolford or whatever his name is who used to play under Adkins at Scunny in return. No brainer. Dickson all the way, was superb at the tail end of last season and I think with some confidence put in him he'll flourish next season.
