No chance at all...I watched us win it live in '66,but I don't think we have any chance this time to replicate 1966!!!

I don't believe England will win a single game in Brazil.

Italy may be slow starters, but we don't exactly fly out the blocks. That's a draw for me.

Uruguay. Suarez fit. Lose. Suarez out, could go either way. Yes, he's that good.

    Costa Rica, easy win.

Could easily be a 3 way tie and go goal difference, I'd fancy us to outscore Italy.

Fulham weren't relegated in 66 mate. That's been going about and it's wrong.

Maybe not this time around but it should be a good indicator of the direction we are heading for 2018. The group should not be difficult.

There's about six or seven teams better than us there so unfortunately it's a No from me.

Agree with this - I just think Roy Hodgson is a dinosaur - can;t look outside the popular clubs for players capable of making a difference - Curtis Davies is a better player than Smalling & Jones. Connor Wickham, on current form, is better than Mandy Carroll & Rickie Lambert. Adam Johnson is a more potent threat than most of the midfielders he's taken - and 1 goial 1 assist Townsend would still have been taken ahead of him if fit! (and I still blame Hodgson somewhat for AJ's dip in form which coincided with the announcement of the England squad).

I can;t see us winning a game - the only reason I'm watching England is because my son wants to!

If Carroll & Lambert are the present or future of English football then we're screwed.

Lambert is one player who Spurs definitely won't be trying to sign and the Smalling situation surprises me. Hodgson has probably put the young players in to counter the dinosaur accusation but he'll play Gerrard & Lampard who'll die in the conditions over there.

Rooney has stunk in World Cups but he'll no doubt play, if he plays badly we won't win a game.

I don't think we will win it, no European team has ever won it when its been in South America, cant see past Brazil or Argentina, but I think we have a chance of reaching the Semi final (if we don't run into one of those earlier, not sure on the permutations).

As for only taking players from the top clubs, most top international teams do the same, unless the player is already a proven international and has gone to a smaller club from a big one.

AJ gas no one to blame but himself, but then its like mist wingers, very rarely are they consistant and AJ gas been anything but consistent, he had a good couple of months then went right off the boil.

It was too late for Conner, and Carroll has been in the England squad before, so probably the correct choice for me, even though I can't stand Carrol.

Everyone thinks we will fail miserably, I think we may surprise a few out there, but even if we play great and get to the semi, there will still be miserable gits that complain about something.

You can in theory win the cup without winning a game.

This shouldn't even be a question. We will win!!!!
