Well I think they are still backing the club actually.
They offered Pochettino a pay rise, a new 5 year deal, a £30m kitty PLUS any money received for Luke Shaw, which may have been a total of £57m to invest.

But anyway it doesn't really matter now does it? Any team that shows any hint of issuing a challenge to the big 6 'Wallet Wavers' will find themselves getting dismantled.

I think Saints are just about to get dismantled.

I hate everything about football except the actual football.

Not sure Smug to be honest.

Just fed up with getting nowhere year after year and then just when it looks a little bit promising your key person gets cherry picked.

I hear Ronald Koeman has come from nowhere to be a favourite for the job.

Would you be happy to have Poyet as manager?

Laudrup could be a good fit, with the players you have and his playing style?

Aye, but when you take both manager turnover and Pardew's personal debt to Mike Ashley into consideration then that doesn't count much <laugh>

You'd think so wouldn't you?

The problem is with the players 'we have', not sure we'll have them for much longer. I think it's only the world cup stopping an exodus, the interested vultures can't get at the players because they're tied up with various international squads. Arsenal want a word with Schneiderlin & Chambers, Roma & Liverpool with Lovren, Shaw with Chelsea or Man Ure, Lallana - Liverpool, Rodriguez & Clyne- Tottenham, our tea trolley lady with Sunderland……….

You mean 'the clubs being offered Southampton players' ............ will Southampton be 'vultures' when they want to sign players?

So you've no idea who you'd like as the next manager, but not Poyet.

It was marra... Would the fact that HR left you to rejoin Pompey make him a worse manager than AP who left you wallowing in the 3rd tier of English football ??
I wasn't after a 'bite'.. It was just a head vs heart question that's all.

Really? It's more like what would you prefer syphillis or gonorrhoea ?

PS Pardew didn't exactly leave us wallowing. It is generally believed he was canned for inappropriate behaviour. And as for Redknapp, the reason he is a ****e manager isn't enough?
