Find it quite exciting that we're signing nutters left right and centre, we might not go up but it's gonna be a laugh either way

Here's a thought. If we had kept Tamas Priskin I wonder how he would have fared with GFZ's playing style?

Good.... in my opinion... I think he never reached and stayed at his potential with us..... actually his career since has not been good either...... so a player, except in his home country, who never really maintained it at club level..... fairly good for his country though

There was no doubt he had his limitations. Did not play well with his back to goal, did not play well when the ball was in the air, but with ball played in front of him, on the ground, was a decent player.

WATFORD’S new signing Gabriel Tamas said the long-term ambition at Vicarage Road was the main reason he signed for the club.

The former West Bromwich Albion defender says he has high hopes for his time with the Hornets, and wants to be part of a successful team.

“I’m glad to be here,” he explained, speaking exclusively to Hornets Player.

“Everybody talks about this team, everybody talks about Watford. They were talking about Watford wanting to go up to the Premier League – that’s their goal.

“That’s why I’m happy to be here. I know they have a very good mentality, a winning mentality.

“Their goal to go up is mine too. I always aim high. I thought this was a good opportunity for me to help the team.

“The project at Watford was the biggest factor. If they didn’t want to go up, I don’t think I would sign. Like all players, you want to aim high. I played in the Premier League and I want to do it again.”

With Angella at his side he might make a good centre half. Looks a bit hungover in the article picture, no doubt celebrating his new contract! ;)

He probably should have tried to team up again with Brendan Rodgers who seemed to know how to use him - our hoofball under Aidy just showed his limitations when it came to offsides
