It was started because the OP felt he was being unfairly labelled PGF, ive not seen his request for evidence brought forward from you or jackuzi so that tells me he was more than justified to create a thread and specifically call you out on it to clear his name, if he felt the need to do that then thats his right dont you think ?

 

To be fair to Vetch the episode was settled by all involved and apologies were offered and accepted (as far as I recall) so I don't see why the issue was re ignited by Uzi in the first place and therefore Vetch's request in his OP was more than justifiable.

 

There is a shift to the right all over Europe Tom, its the kind of thing that tends to happen when people are faced with Austerity. Im not getting involved in what party is right or wrong, most who study closely will tell you that the agenda isnt set by a political party but a ruling elite far far higher up the food chain than the politial system .

If UKIP is gaining seats its a small part of a bigger plan and is being media managed to acheive that, just look at the mail online and check out the stories today..

3/4 stories relating to muslim mercy killings,muslim murdering his wife,muslim pregnant wife being hanged for marrying a christian. Well i could tell you plenty of christians murdering they're christian wives in the UK let alone on the other side of the world! so why print these stories? its to whip up anti islamic feeling to justify other agendas. why no mention on the front page of a national newspaper the troubles in the Ukraine ? because the agenda doesnt fit thats why! you are being sucked into a big design and its being done with media manipulation, if they can turn everybody on each other they divide and rule with ease. I ts a fact that History repeats itself, the Jews got blamed for everything wrong in Germany by the correct manipulation of the masses the relevent targets were acheived .

No I don't see a need to create a thread about something that was already being discussed, especially on such an immotive issue. If he was deeply offended by Jack Uzi's post he should have referred it to the mods instead of escalating the issue.

 

Racism - people just get so touchy over silly things. There is real racism - and the type where people think something is offensive to a race of people - usually not their own race.
When I'm in the Philippines with my wifes family - they call me "Whitey" or "White Man" - so what - it's all in fun. I can remember being 5 years old and learning the "sticks and stones" rhyme. It's not offensive to me. Grow up.

OK, so I think I might just have to pipe up on this one, as I was ititially and regretfully involved in the flare-up.

About a week ago Libertarian made a comment which I think he would agree with me on, was a bit of a generalisation.
He went on to fully clarify his statement with an in-depth account of his experiences over a long period of time to back up his argument and take back the original comment which was obviously taken in completely the wrong way by myself.
I don't think we came to a complete agreement but I certainly respect his views and took back, and am still apologetic for, my reaction to the comments.

So in the famous words of a certain Mr King (Rodney not Martin Luther jnr!!!)...."can we all just get along?"

But on a serious note, I feel responsible for some feeling out there that Libertarian may be racist so I would like to strongly declare that I do not think this at all and hope this can go some way to putting this issue to rest. Thanks.

I have just logged on,and am working my way backwards on this thread. Having read your post I am expecting to encounter yet more unpleasantness,which I will deal with later.

However,I feel I must put your mind at rest.

You are not in any way responsible for what is taking place on this Forum.

That is all down to me,and my mistake in not proof reading a post before clicking.

You have graciously accepted my explanation,and apology,and have moved on.

However,there are some individuals who frequent this place,we call them "keyboard warriors", and they like nothing better than to provoke,attack,insult,libel,etc.,at any opportunity.

They cannot move on,since they have an ongoing agenda to disrupt.

Needless to say,these heroes would never behave in such a way on a face to face basis.

So,please don't get involved,lest they turn on you next.

 

I feel that this is a very sad and unfortunate thread and will just continue to fester and harm this teams page. I suggest this thread is closed and people take a deep breath......

 

I need to clarify this false posting before I move on.

Many,many years ago,there was an avid,some would say rabid ,Cardiff City fan who wrote under the name of Blue Prophet. He's no longer with us,so I will temper my comment with that in mind.

Almost everyday he would visit the Swansea Forum and rant,rave, and generally show the disdain he had for Swansea,the City,it's people,and it's football Club.

This was back in the old BBC606 days.

His anti Swansea posts were so constant and unchanging in their content,that one day I posted to the effect that I considered him to be Cardiff's answer to Joseph Goebbels.who was Germany's arch propagandist in the 2nd World War. It was all a bit tongue in cheek,but I thought the comparison was very apposite,and still do.

Immediately Prophet accused me of calling him a Nazi,which I hadn't.
For years he insisted that was the case,but the only person to use the word Nazi,was himself.

Like many situations on this type of Forum it all got a bit silly.

I have NO RECOLLECTION of Prophet calling me "a racist".

I started the thread to ask if it was acceptable for people to accuse others of being racist. Why not go back and read it again?

This Forum offers the best and the worst of behaviour within it's pages. The best is where people,mostly complete strangers discuss,argue.tease,in a good natured manner.

The worst is where people like JackUzi,(the name says it all),and PGFWhite feel it's acceptable to throw around allegations that they, A)cannot prove,and,B) wouldn't have the guts to say in a face to face environment.

They are cowards,(white is a colour associated with cowardice,so that works),and should be exposed as such.

The more you pander to these individuals the more rope they wrap around their wrists.

When you are the target of their vileness you will sing a different song.

The point of the thread was to ask if calling someone,anyone,a racist,was acceptable.
