he's supposed to have been an attacking manager before norwich. suddenly became roy hodgson when he got there.

Ring Ring "Hello. Southampton Football Club" "Hi, can you put me through to Ms Liebherr please?" "Who's calling please?" "Clive Woodward" "Hello?" "Hello?"
Do we know how they are going to do it? When they appointed Adkins, they welcomed applications from managers, and from memroy a lot sent in CVs and the club then chose Adkins from that list. With Pochetino, clearly they went and got him without doing a big advert. So what this time - ask for applicants or pick the ones they want and go chasing them?
Whittingham? At least it would put an end to that stupid ****ing song. Alan Pardew now the second longest serving Prem manager? God help us,
I watched Hughton take Newcastle to the Championship title with 90 goals for and 35 against. It was a great attacking team. Hughton does what he can with the team he's got. Norwich were limited.
he spent a fair bit on strikers and had the likes of pilkington and snodgrass at his disposal. I rather think he played to the wrong strengths.
Didn't Eddie Howe turn them down first then they chose Adkins? Second choice but the boy done good. Errmmm Not sure what point you're making with those 2. That is still limited for me in the Prem even at the bottom end. Top end Championship players (but better than Danny Fox.)
Can no one mention Glenda again either? "Southampton, having given Hoddle the opportunity to resurrect his career, deserve better than an early-morning phone call informing them he is about to talk to Tottenham and another in the late evening to say he will be leaving. All the while, Gorman is left clearing the debris in his friend's wake. As he left Marchwood, he said: 'I know Glenn was sorry to leave this club and so am I. 'Everybody thinks we have left Southampton in the lurch but that is not the case. We came here to do a good job and that is what we have done.' "
They always compared favourably what we had as they went up the leagues. Lallana eclipsed them both this season but I'd take either of them if Lallana goes. Pilkington might still have a query over his fitness.
Nah Snodgrass is much more of a diver than Adam and that is saying something. To me he is similar to Andros Towsend, head down, drive to the line, look up and turn to the goal, Shoot, then apologise to team mates. We should be looking for much better even if we do appear to be in meltdown. I guess we will see if anyone else in the Prem takes a punt on either. I would only take Hooper from Norwich (for a now reduced price of course. lol)
he won't fit in with our pass sideways to team mate in front of goal until everyone loses the will to live strategy then
