Fair point, but does that not come in the job description, anyone who has seen us in the flesh or on TV knows that youngsters play a hugh part of our progression over the last few seasons, and having produced various England players over the different age groups know that it and us work well with the youngsters.

Koeman's record is awful, he's underacheived everywhere he's gone. Seems to just get decent jobs based on what a good player he was, before being sacked within a year. I think we'll be looking at a younger coach anyway.

Even at his present club? Averaging nearly 2pts a game.

According to the Mirror ''Mauricio Pochettino received managerial lessons from Pepe Mel'' therefore people will say that now he is free and plays the same style we will go for him!

Slaven Bilic and Ralf Rangnick enter Skybet's listings for the first time (although both were already freely available from Bet Victor).

A friend of mine is a Feyenoord fan and is disappointed he is leaving, but not too annoyed because Koeman is an Ajax boy. Feyenoord have money troubles and are having to constantly sell young players to stay afloat.

I dunno, the idea of Koeman makes me a little uneasy. Yakin sounds exciting, though I only really know of his European exploits.

It was accepted that he was leaving at the end of the season because of their financial woes. Where? That was and is the unknown part. No ITK from here i'm afraid :emoticon-0105-wink:

here's a thought. should we try to avoid appointing another manager who gets under the skin of the players the way pochettino did? maybe it will turn out all right in the end but the way the players seem to see the sun shining out of his arse has made this whole situation unbearable.

when adkins went, there was nary a tear shed.

I'd rather Yakin than Koeman, but both if those are serious upgrades on Mackay and Hughton for instance.
