Delete this ridiculous thread now. It's right and proper that dogs are given pride of place in a World Cup thread. After all it was Pickles, a dog, who found the trophy after it went missing in 1966. You may not know but England won it that year, though they never mention it and certainly don't crowbar that fact into every World Cup programme - even when England aren't playing. Has any cat ever found the World Cup trophy? No they ****ing haven't. It was a dog, albeit a very stupid dog who managed to choke himself to death on his leash while chasing, you've guessed it, a cat. But a dog nevertheless. I reiterate, delete this insensitive tribute to the Pickles killers forthwith.
