Pinocchio takes over at the spuds then... jiminy cricket to be his technical director to advise the small puppet as he seeks to find a way to stop the fiddler pulling his strings and be a real boy instead.

I think it's a mistake on his part, he hasn't got enough experience yet for the job and knowing how sack happy Levy is. So the question now is will he want Lallana at spurs?

Good appointment for Spurs that. Might take him a year or two to get the right players playing his way and if he gets given time I think he could do similar to what Rodgers has done for us.

I really can't see him being given the time. £200m spent last year, how much more will it take?

yes he could if the puppet master lets him. i do agree but if he's been lied to and find himself being ordered to play this guy or that he could equally walk.

is he going to have to sell to buy, or will levy risk giving him money to spend out his own pocket?

like has already been said £200 mill spent already, they will want to see a return on that asap at spurs, brave move by him if he is given nothing to spend without selling first.

levy will spend the cash and pick who he wants to buy... avb got the sack of insinuating lvey picked all the buys and sold bale out from under him

the reality is however a healthy squad balance is required so some sales have to occur

Kyle Walker
Danny Rose
Younès Kaboul
Jan Vertonghen
Vlad Chiricheș
Aaron Lennon
Paulinho
Roberto Soldado
Emmanuel Adebayor
Erik Lamela
Lewis Holtby
Étienne Capoue
Kyle Naughton
Andros Townsend
Mousa Dembélé
Michael Dawson
Nacer Chadli
Gylfi Sigurðsson
Christian Eriksen
Brad Friedel
Hugo Lloris
Iago Falque
Tom Carroll
Jake Livermore
Sandro
Benoît Assou-Ekotto
Ryan Mason
Zeki Fryers
Alex Pritchard
Harry Kane
Nabil Bentaleb
Jordan Archer

you have to admit that theres at least 2 extra wide men in there and not enough striker types. then theres a glut of full backs too.

i would be thinking that paulinho, lloris and townsend might go but others will be forced out too.

its only natural consequence of nt making cl...lloris will go to psg

If he doesn't start speaking English in interviews then the media are going to turn on him a lot quicker than they would on somebody else!

love to have Lloris and migs. shame it is unlikely lol.

what do people think of Paulinho, have to say not impressed personally, Townsend i reckon would be worth a gamble ie point to prove.

i thought he'd be better myself. just wasn't the central driving force of the team as expected.

lloris is a real top top keeper. could be vital with sahko in frances campaign

Looking at that you'd have to say is there are just too many "ok" or "decent" players there. No stand out players, maybe Lloris apart, that you'd be desperate to see us sign.

Its not like they've sold someone for a ridiculous amount recently to skew the figures.

maybe so... sando looked good, lloris is as you say stand out. vertonghen is a should have done better character... it seems to be a dutch trait. when fired and working he's good but when not bothered... well not good.

theres a lot of senior players there, maybe compared to our sqaud quite a few more i dunno.

Kyle Walker - flanagan?
Danny Rose - enrique ?
Younès Kaboul - toure?
Jan Vertonghen - agger?
Vlad Chiricheș - sahko?
Aaron Lennon -
Paulinho - henderson?
Roberto Soldado - suarez?
Emmanuel Adebayor - sturridge?
Erik Lamela - sterling?
Lewis Holtby - allen?
Étienne Capoue - lucas?
Kyle Naughton - johnson?
Andros Townsend - aspas?
Mousa Dembélé - gerrard?
Michael Dawson - skertl?
Nacer Chadli -
Gylfi Sigurðsson - alberto?
Christian Eriksen - coutinho?
Brad Friedel - jones?
Hugo Lloris - mingolet?
Iago Falque
Tom Carroll
Jake Livermore
Sandro
Benoît Assou-Ekotto
Ryan Mason
Zeki Fryers
Alex Pritchard
Harry Kane
Nabil Bentaleb
Jordan Archer

ok we sent reina, assaidi and borini out and brought in cissohko and moses using loand so ekotto and lennon might be a wash.

they prob just about have a stronger sqaud par se in terms of consistency but i think out front is moe dynamic, defences is a wash and thier midfield is better

What f**king difference does that make? The fact remains they've spent less than nothing for 3 years

true, must have been hit quite hard in the wages dept though surely.

that would have some effect on any budget to spend wouldn't it?
