I would hope they are taking all his wages they can afford it if not guess it at leased means he will not be in a team competing with us.
They won't stump up for his entire wage... I'm saw I saw somewhere they're having a salary cap of 20 - 25k p/w max for each player. Was also speaking to a QPR fan the other day and he said they really want Bullard but refuse to pay the wage he's on now and we're unwilling to subsidise apparently...
I know Bullard is "daft as a brush" etc etc but he would have to be seriously fukin mental to take a million quid pay off on a 5 million quid contract! Heres hoping.
As we would be only saving 1.2mill from those figures surely it would make sense to pay him off if it is 1mill that way we save 1.3mill as we wont be paying his wages any more then he is no longer a burden on finance and thus gives us 2.3mill extra for next year.
No he wouldn't. Any pay-off would only be to make up any shortfall in the earnings lost, if QPR offer to pay him £35k a week for two years, then £1m would cover the difference, if they offer him £25k a week, he'll probably demand £2m, but his desire to leave may drag that down a bit.
OLM no team will offer Bullard 35k a week or i doubt 25k. 15k is what i reckon he will get. He will be looking for 3 million from us.
DQPR will have no issue with paying him £25k a week, it was what he was on at Fulham before we made our daft offer.
Nah, he won't want that much money because he just wants to play football. Remember when Barmby took a million quid from Leeds and came here on a low wage? What a guy. Hopefully his big mate Jimmy has the same attitude.
Errm its called insurance. QPR sound like they are playing pretty tough with contracts and entertaining 25k on a 33 yr old with no insurance if he gets injured is nt gonig to happen. The risk is too big. I am hoping they do mind!!
Barmby should've chucked him off the Humber Bridge when he had the chance! I recall when Duffen took over City he issued the words to the effect of "I'm not really a football man"... how right he was... and Bartlett was too busy building houses or whatever to realise what a daft contract it was.. I bet the pocket calculators are working overtime right now trying to limit the ongoing damage..
Also from QPR fans. Rowan Vine is on £20k, and is due to receive a 25% pay rise as a result of promotion. Do you see them having a wage budget that's no bigger than they had in the Championship and allows Vine to be their top earner?
