So, did anyone get tickets? And if so, are they the ones you desperately wanted? I was hoping for something at the stadium..and got canooing! lol...Ah well, it'll be a nice morning out...hopefully!
we put in for loads! lol...if you didn't get anything, at least you get another crack in the second round, i can't go for anymore yet
Yes, we put in for 4 sessions and got just the tennis. The tennis is however a fine deal as the tickets are for the whole day. Things like the diving are for a session lasting just over an hour!
Judging by all the news reports my son and I have been very lucky. We put in for 12 sessions and have ended up with 5. Weve got 2 football sessions(3 games),hockey(2 games),boxing and like you H canooing.
We wanted tickets for the footy and applied for Webley and Coventry (in-laws live there). We got the Cov tickets. Also applied for a fer other events, but only got tickets for the footy at the City of Coventry Stadium (that's the Ricoh to you and me!!!)
oops, didn't realise you had to have applied int he first round... Will havet o wait for the remaining tickets to go on sale - but looking at what's still available, the footy doesn't seem to have been as popular!
Hornette, so did I...until last season. I then had to put up with a grinning Mother-in-Law. Couldn't wait to get away!!!! I'm also looking forward to going back to Southampton next season, but it's a shame Brighton is on Tuesday night.
Yep, last season wasn't so great, for sure! But strangely, i still enjoyed it. Yep, i also can't wait for Southampton! Hmm, i might attempt Brighton...would be good coz a good friend supports them and i'd love to get there..he's been bragging about the new stadium for ages! lol
I got 5 tickets for the football final at Wembley. Now I hope that the "GB" team make it to the final. It seems Beckham will be one of the "over-age" players. Could anyone with Watford connections force their way into the team?
Of course the footy won't be popular. Will there be a British team or not. If there is, will it be decided on ability, a ration of population of the constituent parts of Great Britain, of whichever of the nations chose to allow their players to play? And while I'm at it will the team be England (because the others won't play), Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) or a representative team from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? Oh semantics, don't you just love a clever dick? I'll wager they will need a special kit featuring all the different colours of the nations.
The footy final at Wembley, blimey you'll have to change your outlook to "optimist"! I think loads of people avoided the footy because of the doubts over the GB team and the lack of information. Also what date is the final? Isn't it due to clash with the start of the next footy season? As for Watford connections, Ashley Young?
I applied for my son and I to go to canoeing (he does it so I thought I'd take him to see the best in the world) but didn't get them. Am going to apply for tickets at OT instead - if we get them, my son can wind up his 1/2 bro as he's a ManUre fan and has never been there.
Well I went for a bucketload, got three sessions with table tennis, hockey and er, women's beach volleyball (sorry hornette!)
I seem to have done quite well but mainly because a lot of the things I applied for were random things no one else would want to watch! Got Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Hockey, Swimming Table Tennis, Water Polo, Freestyle Wrestling, Womens Football final, Fencing, and Taekwondo! As long as all the events have a bar I'll enjoy myself!
lol forgiven emiatss barry, we may have spare tickets for canooing coz my kids will probably be away!
