I think that LVG is an excellent appointment - he is very passionate and should get the best out of RVP. http://www.tibsnews.com/blogs/manchester-united-its-going-to-take-time/ It will be interesting to see where the club finishes next season - Top four is a must.
Certainly the key objective for next season. IMO it will be touch and go. As long as we improve on this wretched past season and we do not crumble or play like headless chickens against a top premiership team, I'll be happy
It'll be about 10 years before you get back in the top 4, if you ever manage it. Top 10 should be a realisitic target for next season
Your talking out of your arse as per usual, we will be back in the top 4 next season and you can quote me on that as well.
I think we will see the united we are used to next season. The players have a point to prove and van gaal is a perfectionist so will demand their best. We have one of the best goalkeepera and one of the best strikers in the league. That gives us every chance in games. We need some quality without doubt. Im sure we will add players and strengthen. For me the doom and gloom is over.
I like a bit of optimism too. But I am also a realist. LVG is not fergie. Even a genius like saf took several seasons to get a team playing the way he wanted. Granted he started from a low base but getting a squad ( it is a squad game) firing on all cylinders takes time. One season is far too early.
First thing I thought of when I read the title of this thread.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xry_ooH9yY0 Pretty apt
I'd be disappointed if we ****ing finish below the RS next season. History showed us that after EACH season they do well, the ******ed scousers go on the slide...
