Looks like left back is a higher priority than right back - the papers including the Echo have said Moreno is a target. This makes sense because we have Wisdom returning and Flannagan being a natural RB means we have cover in that position. Not great, but still cover. Enrique is the only decent left back we have at this club (Flanno can cover) but Jose is always injured.
get to ****, Joe Cole is on that list, dont want Rio either (never rated him, and no its not because he was a manc, rated Vidic a lot more) wonder if Lampard will play for QPr ie for Harry (rich owners, so get his wages still) Bendter NO big fat no, egotistic twat.
I think Rio was good at one time. All those performance enhancing drugs helped him out for a while. He's past it now though.
I suspect FF was joking I read rumours over the weekend linking Lampard and Rio to a West Ham return.
i am saying no to barry not even just to annoy everton. he's a donkey whos getting past it just like parker did
#oo-er But seriously, if we can't grab a decent DM for a good price then having someone like him come in would make me quite happy. We need an organised DM, Barry is one. He's also much better with his feet than people give him credit for. Much like Milner in that regard.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...from-Stoke-for-Oussama-Assaidis-services.html We are apparently demanding 7million for Assman... think thats a fair valuation tbh. He was one of their better players last season. It's about damn time we start ripping off other teams. Still pissed off we sold Shelvey for only 5 million, we didn't even add the English premium tax. Spurs sold Caulker for 8million!! and he barely played for them.
if we get it stoke are mad but if you think... 7 in for assaidi and 8 or less for reina then any top cb leaving = 10 mil it starts to add up. shelvey barely did much though... one tasty goal really and swansea struggled. they wll prob sell on for 10mil is 2-3 years but hey... i think its all about selling flops rather than selling talent with lfc.. i have not seen us sell too many in my time like torres etc
We'll be lucky to get £7m for Assaidi. I'd have taken £5m so anything above that would be good. AS you say though, about time we start demanding more money for our players. Apart from the big sales, we always tend to sell the rest for such small amounts and never make a profit on them. The amount of times United/Chelsea/Spurs make a profit on their players they don't want compared to us is remarkable. Only get the feeling teams pay more for United rejects just because they've played for United and therefor must have some sort of talent hidden away somewhere! £8m for Reina is pushing it though MITO. Can only see us getting about £5m unfortunately due to the fact that everyone knows we are desperate to sell him. Still, £5m and 100k a week off the wage bill is a good start.
