Well after your posturing and bluster before our games, both of which ended in your balloon being burst, you have had a lot of practice at climbing down, mate...
Yep and I'll happily hold my hands up. However we all know one of those results was extremely unjust By the way who is throwing their toys out the pram...?
You guys started this thread. All of a sudden we've become so important to you that LOECW needs to trawl through the annals of history to find images that he thinks show us in a bad light. For a club that 'doesn't care about QPR' you lot sure spend an awful lot of time talking about us all of a sudden. Surely it can't JUST be that you think we'll beat you again? And I'm not sure about your statement about the result being 'unjust'. All you needed to do was score. Oh, and keep your players on the pitch. Are you telling me that Drogba's tackle wasn't warranting a straight red? When you already had 10 men? Unlike you, we know how to win games with only 10 men.....
He's trying to get a rise, and as usual it's worked. Where have we spent an 'awful lot of time' talking about you? There are two threads concerning you in God knows how long and one of which is stating we'll have another London Derby to compete in next season. Foy was a shambles in that 1-0 you got in 2011. You have to be stupid to deny it.
TonyIncenzoTALKSPORT ‏@TonyIncenzo 8 hrs QPR sold 39,000 tickets on Saturday plus 8,000 R's in Club Wembley = 47,000 a record for one club in a domestic final at the new Wembley
Maybe but you can't possibly tell me that your players covered themselves in glory. Two red cards - one for a professional foul similar to the one we conceded on Saturday, and one for a recklessly dangerous tackle right in front of the ref. No less than SEVEN yellows on top of that. Did NOBODY on your team think 'ok, we know what he's playing like, so be careful'? If they did, they then proceeded to play straight into his hands. if they didn't, then more fool them. According to Chelsea fans, you know when a referee is against you. Why not in that game? Simple answer - you weren't up for the game, your foreign imports were intimidated by the crowd noise (something rarely heard at SB to that degree) and our team compensated for a card-happy ref far better than you did. There's your answer, right there...
If you like. In that game we weren't very good. See? I have no difficulty being realistic about my team. It's a shame your manager has instilled the "blame anyone but Chelsea" ethos. A little humility from most of the Chelsea fans I know and see on here wouldn't go amiss.
First red card was very harsh and 2nd was very deserving although I doubt Drogba would have lashed out had Foy been fair the entire game. The seven yellow cards were just one part of Foy's atrocious refereeing that day. As for the second bit - ha. Do you seriously believe that? Intimidated by the crowd because they're foreign. Ridiculous statement. Why can none of you tell this was tongue in cheek?
Shows what you know. We picked up 2 yellows. You could easily have done the same, but couldn't deal with the pressure. and Ivanovic has said in interviews that the atmosphere was the most intimidating he's ever experienced, and he wasn't prepared for it. Mata hated taking corners, cos he had to go near the touchline. And the only people still saying that the first red was harsh are chelsea fans. it was a pull back when SWP was past him, and he was the last man. Can I suggest you read up before posting?
Well you'd know all about that Willy, like you we have some stupid plastics too although you don't tend to get many 50 year old plastics these days
Millwall sold 45k regular tickets and had 4k in Club Wembley for their League One playoff v Scunthorpe in 2009 at the New Wembley. Also, Derby sold out their tickets in 54 mins, while yours went on general sale (all you needed was a reg no) and sold out three days later, even though you can walk to Wembley
The way you squealed like babies to get opponents sent off and Helgy's swan dive for the pen was pitiful. Ivanovic also said Galatasaray and Anfield was the most initimidating ever. It was noisy in the first half, but it should be for your cup final. It is like us waiting 16 years to play Spurs or Leeds
Why would I bother? It was nigh on 3 years ago, the exact amount of yellow cards isn't relevant. All I know is Foy was **** and played a major part in you beating us on that day.
I seriously have no idea what you're talking about. If it's some kind of comment about me, my first QPR game was in 1972. So unless you think supporting a team for fourty-two years through three divisions, counts as being a 'plastic', I can only assume you're trying to be funny. In which case, I guess you need to up your medication, mate.
