Accusations of racism.

With respect PGF i Think your going off the point here slightly and deflecting from the crux of this thread.

A poster has to defend himself from the type of slur that can carry serious concequnces in real life, swear words mean absolutly nothing in reality but being called racist is an extremly damaging and Even libalous thing to level at anybody unless the context is 100% pro en and correct,which it isnt!

Its shameful that vetch has to justify himself to you or anyone Else actually, I mean lets be honest here the guy was married to a black woman ffs! How non racist can anyone be !

Im a bit embarrassed that members of this forum can be so damaging to the charecter of another poster in such a trivial way.

As i said before, unless you have coome across racism first hand you have no clue of what you speak about,if you have then you wouldnt be so daft as to level such things at a guy you know very little about.

I respect you immensely as a poster PGF , your one of my favourites! I cant understand your thinking on this one though

I suggest that this thread is boardering on an issue that goes beyond any of the normal Stuff,we Are talking about liabilty and defamation of character if we continue to call people something they Are not!

Being called a dick aint the same as calling somebody racist,its such a serious thing to level at somebody in this day and age, i hope we can agree on that

 

If memory serves me right (which it probably doesn't) when it comes to forums, there is very little in the way of defamation of character or libellous claims. Something to do with the username, rather than a persons real name. Unless of course you can prove it has affected you away from the forums.

 

Why not put it down to my being a racist.

You kind of prove the point. There is a Grey area where an induvidual can push the envelope if he chooses, we have seen different user names on Twitter get to court, all im saying is that there are some things that we all have to tread very carefully with .

What your saying is that a poster called(for example) ABC fred can say what he likes to whom he likes with no regard for his words, ie, call another poster a peodifile without reproach, other posters here this and some may know the guy personally and may have their opinion tainted by the remarks, next thing you know the guy/poster is getting pointed at down the Liberty and the next thing he gets beaten up and has his house vandilised .

You may laugh at that scenario but it has happened! ditto with being labelled a racist. we are living in times where social media and indeed forums can become a very dangerous thing if not used correctly .

If its not been challenged now it most certainly will in the future mark my words

I agree, that it needs to be challenged, as mentioned earlier in the thread, I too was recently accused of being racist on here. Am just saying that where libel comes into play, its a bit hit and miss with forum actions, unless it effects them in real life. Which is where what you mention comes into play.

Me for example, no-one here knows who I am (so I think lol) so although someone accused me of being racist, it is unlikely to follow me to RL situations. So if I was to take it further, it wouldn't stand up sort of thing. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be nipped in the bud, just saying about in regards to libel/defamation of character.

 

Bring back the Golliwog. That is where all this **** started. **** the politically correct left and their warped Marxist views. Tribalism is an innate biological trait and this utopia can never exist. ****ed off with this **** everywhere I look. Racist be damned.

 

Agree fella. Problem is if that Police get involved they can easily find where you are and take it from there,not saying that will ever happen but who thought that other aspects of social media would lead to prison ?

While we are at it, lets ban everything, ban all potentially offence words, or just make some up and then say you can't use it (slope). The reds want us all to be nodding drones, no culture, no differences. I find this deeply offensive and the next person to call me a racist while wanting to protect British culture I will smack in the face. My anger over this is boiling over.

Don't have much time at the moment, but I could go on and on, you get the picture I hope. And yes, my main gripe is with the Muslims and the whole antithesis to our culture.

So how about you answer my question and not just say racism as a way of detracting from these issues. If the warped version of the word makes me a Racist, then I will not defend myself as then I would be proud to say I am. A big massive "I AM A RACIST".
