Just a bit, lived most of my life in foreign climates, with many different people from many different countries and cultures and I've always judged people by their character, not by their nationality, celebritism or their talent at whatever they do, but as people and by how they act, and he is completely lacking in everything, he has no integrity, lying to stewards then blaming other people for his own actions, no loyalty, as Sutil found out, no class, whines constantly playing the blame game even more than Di Resta, and his 'black this, black that' 'oh I had it soo hard' bullshit gets right on my tits too.
I often wonder what impels people to support such thoroughly odious people, they wouldn't give them the time of day if they were an average Joe they met on the street

So what you are suggesting Miggs, is that Hamilton would have more credibility if he stood by an utter fool that thought it's okay to glass someone? You contradict your own moral high-ground with that one. He did entirely the right thing by distancing himself from that.

Also, you call out Hamilton for playing the race card, which he did once, and not wisely.... and yet we hear how us Hamilton fans are all anti-German, because those of us that dont support Vettel somehow have a WW2 complex and are just nationalistic idiots. Just like Hamilton needs to look at his behavior.... So do you, because it reeks of sourness and hypocrisy.

    Edit.
Apologies to the mods for that outburst. I tried to hold it in... But I can't be doing with the hypocrisy and irony.

he plays the race card constantly 'the only black F1 driver' have you looked at Ricciardo lately? Try and tell me he's not black, he just doesn't say it (although, to be fair that's mainly because being black is almost illegal in Aus). Go read some of his bollocks and see how many times he brings his race up, or something to do with racism "I had to do this because of racism, I had to do that because of racism". The guy is interested in one thing, having himself worshipped, his face on T-shirts, that's why, when he got rid of his dad, he went for Fuller. He's a male version of Cherly Cole, another odious charcter who lives up her own arse.
The British publics fawning over such plastic and hollow people is the reason, when you go to the poling station, the three main contenders are all plastic ****s. You get the government the people deserve

There is no reasoning with you, Miggs... There is no discussion. If you're a Hamilton fan you're either sub-intelligent or somehow a nationalistic bastard. Wind your bloody neck in and stop acting like a complete twat. It's no better than Hamilton acting like a spoilt git.

The postman came round this morning and said "I have a parcel for your neighbour".

I said "You've come to the wrong house. He lives next door."

    I thank you.

What are you talking about? The only person who keeps constantly bringing up racism issues is you.

The more you talk about, the more it seems to be talked about, but its still just you doing all the talking about it <laugh>

actually, I read a article from Hamilton (edited by Benson/Pinch of salt) before the monaco GP and it was all about being the first and only black driver. No mention of his mum.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/27526301

Hamilton has been cringe-worthy all weekend.

He has, everyone on here (even his bigger fans) have admitted it, but Miggins still reads it like we all think he is the dogs gonads and can't be faulted.

I'm sure he reads one forum then posts his answers up on another.............

    Hi Mr B.

Unfortunately I was travelling back from Germany this weekend so couldn't gauge the reaction to qualifying or the race. Plus my German is rubbish so I wouldn't do any analysis of the reactions any justice. Sorry I couldn't be more informative. Perhaps someone else can give some insight?

The viscous circle of modern day equality issues, for every step forward we make as a society we negate it with the need to reiterate or revisit. It seems the more that we move away from the hate and spite of the issues of years gone by, the more certain groups or individuals feel the need to use the inference of the past as something to justify their plight - often one that is fictional or self believed.

Whilst sexism, racism and class divide will unfortunately be prevalent all over the world, and have the potential to affect every man, woman and child from every walk of life (regardless of who you are), these are nothing compared to what the real martyrs of mankind have been through! People have lost their lives so that we can live a fair life, Women, Jews, Black, White, Muslim, Christian (and many many more) and yet we see people who have the opportunity through their international stardom (and wealth ) to make a change, but instead they potentially negate the positive moves we have made in some of these areas.

There is nothing worse than anybody who tries to compare their modern day issues (*) (certainly in 1st world countries) with historical events that they are neither knowledgable enough off to comment on, or concerned enough to fully understand. We are all guilty of that to some extent, but those that rattle their jewellery should not judge those that clap their hands!

(*) I fully understand that some of the most horrendous atrocities still happen today and in no way have I intended to cause offence if anybody is or has been affected by such an event, past or ongoing.

This comment really annoys me. Not the content, because I agree with it, but the fact there was no mention of racing and Formula 1 because Hamilton keeps insisting we go on and on with this debate. As a big fan of his he needs to shut up because we know he's black not white and just race hard. He's got a championship to win.

I don't think there's much difference between the point he was making in his recent quote and what this woman is saying:

    https://www.facebook.com/IFeakingLo...7116489976035/838998169454529/?type=1&theater

From what he was saying race was not an issue for him until he began to realise that like it or not it made him a role model for people who don't have role models in those fields. It is easy for a random sample of people on this board whom I assume are predominantly white men to underestimate the importance of seeing a black or female face in a traditional white male environment. It does inspire others to follow.

I get this point and I do agree that he undoubtedly has inspired not just black kids across the UK and beyond to take part in motorsport but kids of all races.

My problem is just the fact he has said this a couple of times before and the whole weekend started with 'I come from a couch in Stevenage he came from jets and boats background' eluding to race and financial situations to try and gain a mental upper hand before the best and a pivotal GP of the year, when it just wasn't necessary.

Yes, I agree that was cringeworthy of him, to be fair I don't think he suggested he was badly off because he was black though. They were two separate points.

Lewis got it so wrong mentally this weekend. There is no doubting his talent on the track- he is supremely quick. He has also coped very well in two high pressure situations in Bahrain and Barcelona, fighting off late Rosberg rampages and doing so very well. I felt that was the beginning of him really showing Championship qualities.

Only Lewis can beat himself this season IMO and honestly, if he continues to act in the manner he did after Monaco this weekend, he has every chance of doing so and there will be no sympathy from me whatsoever. He is experienced in F1 now and he finally has all tools at his disposal for a second World Championship.

He has what, 11 races to go? His car is the best in the field by a country mile and all he has to do is learn to shut it, get his head down and race. How must Alonso, Raikkonen, Vettel, Buttons of the world be feeling this season knowing that they can't even land a blow?

The one thing it is doing is making this year have something of interest.

he wasn't badly off full stop, it's all part of the facade, anyone who had a spare £20k knocking about to splash out on one of their kids fun in the early-mid ninties, and could afford to give up their job wasn't poor. Not by a long way,
