Nice quote nicked from the comments on the article <ok>

Sorry guys, not being biased at all, but don't you think your having slight tunnel vision here?

Why would someone randomly attack someone if they have done nothing wrong?

He is about to enter the last year of his contract, and that usually influences price tags - downwards.

Next year he can go for nothing.

Easy way to blackmail someone who is maybe not responding any other way?

My vision on the subject is purely neutral. I couldnt give a **** about Michael Chopra. Yeah he was a great player when he was here but he's not a Cardiff boy or Cardiff through and through so no tunnel vision from me Swan.

    <laugh> <ok>

In real life though DB? Remember I expressed my opinion at your valid point when you 1st joined, when others on the board thought you were talking through your backside?

I do remember <cheers> Then you also remember how unreasonably I was rounded on over there but that's history.

Regardless of what Ash has or has not done it's something that should be sorted privately and I can't see how anyone can condone the way Chopra's behaved on a public forum. Very threatening, but par for the course 'cos he's a ****.

In no way, shape or form am I condoning Chopra's behaviour. Infact, totally the opposite. I can understand how it can be easy to threaten someone on a social network site as wrong as it is. But completely agree with you that it should have been settled privately. My point was, if it's as important as Chopra is making out, and he has exhausted every possible way of getting in touch with Ashley, then maybe he wanted to make a point by (foolishly) putting it on Twitter.

Seriously! Don't you understand blackmail is wrong under any circumstances! Ash doesn't have to answer to Chopra does he!

My point proven on tunnel vision <ok>

No he doesn't, but do you know what it's regarding? Do you know how serious Ashley has pissed Chopra off?

Lets say for example that Ash has slept with Chopra's wife, as per some of the rumors,

Would you happily let someone get away with the same thing? Hmmm.

If anyone say's no then your a liar! <laugh>

    My point exactly!!!

You can't slate either if you don't know the reason.

Chopra is wrong for doing it yes, but if you don't know, how can we pass comment?

Call me strange but I'm not going to have an opinion on Ashley Williams until what he supposed to have done comes out.

    Thats your business mate <ok>

As I said, I'm neutral. Couldn't care less about either. Just stating my opinion

Course you can.. As I said above. It's your business <ok>

My opinion was, I cant understand how anyone can comment on either. It's not your argument so why care?

    Thats why I'm staying neutral

If it comes out Chopra was a dick or Ash was a dick, it makes no difference to our lives, right?

Bloody Hell! Because he done it on a public forum! And if its something that affects Swansea city A.F.C I would like to know. If it's a personal matter between them two I don't really give a toss.

He has an addictive personality and he should have had help when he was young as there is no doubt about it that he had talent and could have made it big time. He has gambled away a fortune and it has ruined his promising career to really be a world class player...

He was never going to a be a world class player imo. Couldn't step up to Prem level and is one of those players that was outstanding in the Championship but falls between the divisions in ability.

Partly true, but I do know that when he played in the Prem he wasn't good enough.

Yes and i put that down to him being ill. He suffers from mental illness and that has hindered his career as you could tell throughout his career. When he first started out he was tipped to make the big time but due to his compulsive addiction not just to gambling but probably anything you can be addicted too. Anyone who works with mental health issues will tell you its a hell of a illness and in most cases a hidden illness that can effect your everyday life...Im not saying he would have made it big but he was tipped to make it big when he was young and of what i have seen in his early days then i think they could have been right...
