well i might agree but i think in reality with a us tour for LFC and the world cup nothing will occur until august. for the record clyne is 23, very short (doesn't fit the full back profile as a result), has two years left on his current deal, played 23 games for them in the league last year and was bought from palace 2 years ago where he did fairly well as a youngster. he layed up to decemebr then was in and out last year and it wasn't until last few games that he got really back in.

hell if we want to finish 7th why not buy man utd...... there are better players out there in each position and I'll bet southampton would sell them all for the rigth price and buy better.. now losing all 4 is an issue of continuity but I am willing to be I could get better players for less pretty easiy. eg. Lallana.. 25mil and wages maybe oh i dunno 90-100k per week over 4 years?? substitute sanchez in here on 18mil but 150k per week. OR think lallana is the box to box midfield role and put in Can for 10mil on 50-60k per week Lovern... 15-20mil.. 100k per week again... sub in Matip from shalke...or what about Subotic? Clyne... take your pick out of about 50 RBs. how baout just giving wisdom a go!!! pay 10mil for a midget Rb when you've you a decent kid right there... and even a flanagan option!!! Sneider whazzit.. again 20mil and 100k per week. Just ... buy... martinez for 30mil and laugh... use the saved cash on the other 3 to fund a real quality buy sorry saints fans.. i bet the only ****er they end up losing will be Shaw and that's because they will get silly money for him.
Only Southampton players I would be happy with is Shaw and Lovren, but not for the ridiculous money speculated. Hope we look elsewhere, far better players for much better value.
McLaren wants to keep Wisdom apparently. Whether that's on loan or permanent deal not sure. If we were to sell him reckon we could get about £5m for him? Hope we don't sell him though, would be good to see him get some game time. Maybe another 6 month loan to a Prem club to see how he copes there
there is absolutely no fricking way LFC should sell that lad..... now if he bottles it and does a shelvey fair enough but if he comes back from his loan where he did fairly well by all accounts and steps up in preseason he has a shot at putting johnson out of the side and that includes league not just cup games.
however...i forgot to say that having seen rodgers play 4 cbs to not play wisdom early in the season etc i have a question on rodgers rating him or trusting him so any chance that comes he must grab with both hands.
