It's like he ga, pull one block of the puzzle out and oh oh the whole thing comes down

If spurs get the guy don't be shocked they go in for 2 or even 3 of Southampton

However....... There's no coincidence that this came out right after real won the cl.... Levy is that deluded that he waited for anchelotti in case he was sacked... Which means this is not his first choice

Not a great start eh.... Spurs <laugh> all the best and all that but I somehow don't see this being a 5 year deal

Will be a bit disappointed if he swaps Saints for Spuds - he was doing a good job and had a really promising future there with those young players coming through. I feel spuds is a bit of a poisoned chalice right now, no one will be happy unless you get top 4 which isn't exactly easy in the PL, lots of competition. He'll want to bring in his own players, that's even more change to an already unsettled squad.

Expect Pochettino to be sacked next summer.

I get the feeling that Lallana seems keen to come to us, maybe if Pochettino gets the Spurs job Lallana might decide he'd rather stay darn sarf with a manager he knows and likes.

Spurs have a history of throwing extra wages at guys, it's basically a good test for us... Offer a player x... If he even looks twice at spurs for x+20k we don't want him and then Chelsea come in and offer x+60k and do for spurs and all

When spurs were on the up fine ok we were on the slide. We are now cl.... Who knows we might offer low wages still but nobody looking at 4/5 players signed recently by spurs who are to be dumped..... Well whop knows

I'm sure wages comes into it as does living in London, but as you say we should only want players who want us as first choice and not a bidding war on wages.

I don't see Lallana moving to Spurs unless no one else bids for him.

He's got into the England team playing fro Saints so no benefit there. He won't get CL football, so no benefit there. He'll get to play in the EL but if it's a choice between us and Spurs, unless the wages are hugely different (but even so we'd still improve what he's on now) then it's a no brainer. He seems like a sensible lad and knows he may only get 1 shot at playing in the CL

At his age and if his form keeps up he will get many offers from CL teams, this far from his 1 shot.

  12. Can't say I care what the reasons are TBH, I only want players that want to play for the Liverbird. Plus, if a players chooses Spurs over us now its anything and everything but footballing reasons.

This is his 1st shot, no CL teams were looking at him before. Whether it's his only shot depends like I say, but it's a risk if he doesn't take it this time and his form drops next year, can't see any of the top 4 clubs going back in for him.

Not too many in the last 20 years but in recent times (5/6 years) i would say they have had more good seasons than Liverpool!
