I can't believe that at the time of writing this the "Derby Muppet" thread has received more views than Zamora's goal!
Werent people saying fourth place had the least chance of going up? Its like Cardiff when one end won 7 in a row, until the other end won, it means nothing.
Don't worry Ubes, just got to finish some work, then I'm on a mission to get those viewing figures up, single handed if need be.......

Now that is a #Fact
Exactly. The more times these pointless stats continue the more chance you have of breaking it. I think? I was saying to my mate that the east side of the stadium might be a blessing for us. I've been to see us in three finals at Wembley and we were in the west side on each occasion. Needless to say we lost two and drew the other. I also believe QPR were in the east side for our victory in '67.
It gets better with every viewing...... Changing tack a little, I was a little peeved at the negative reporting in the papers......admittedly I only saw the "Irish" version of the Sunday Times but the report was at the foot of page 6 and under the headline stating how unjust our victory was......it carried an analogy with gridiron where teams who attack most usually win and do not unjustly lose.......felt it was all rather ungracious and totally ignored a brilliant defensive game.....don't recall the paper saying Chelseas win at Liverpool a few weeks ago was unjust. However on the page opposite the report was Rod Liddle's column, again this is someone who really doesn't like us, but to my surprise he actually praise us, saying we looked the more threatening going forward, had the better chances and in his opinion the more competant side won.....well I almost fell of my chair reading that.....he did rather spoil it by describing Garry O'Neill as a our "centre back and captain", but hey lets not quibble about that......

Just in case you missed out on hearing Phil Parry's commentary the first time......... it still makes me grin from ear to ear listening to it ... Queens Park Rangers is returning to the Premiership after Bobby Zamora's last-minute goal dashed Derby County dreams and sent BBC Radio London announcer Phil Parry into heart palpitations. We're familiar with, and big fans of, soccer announcers going berserk. But this is one example of an entirely-warranted meltdown of happiness. QPR scored the Championship play-off winning goal despite being a man down, and that it was Bobby Zamora—who always seems to be in the middle of these things—seems entirely fitting. http://deadspin.com/bbc-announcer-g...d&utm_campaign=Feed: deadspin/full (Deadspin)
