I think that Redcar race could turn out pretty decent again, Maputo won it last year and Al Busayyir and Libran pulled nicely clear, I expected Libran to drift just because the trainer and jockey and who they were up against but 7/1 was enormous, ran a blinder but Al Busaayir was game and just held him off, both horses should go on from this. Probably best to put a line through Stampede, he ran no sort of race.
Well done smoked and anyone else I may have missed. I always think there's far too many rubbish meetings on Bank Holiday Mondays that I never even look at the cards. Nadal not favourite for the French Open. A first surely, but I can see why the bookmakers prefer Novak based on their recent head to heads and I suppose how close he got to beating claymaster in last year's epic final. Anyone any punts on for it?
The Good Dr runs my little fella again tomorrow and if he loses my name is not Boston Bob. Discay is the interesting one though. Decent for Johnston. Now runs on Summer ground in maiden hurdles. He'll be winning at some point. Might as well start tomorrow.
Double Up would have been a wheelbarrow job with the right ground. I assume the withdrawal was ground based.
Well done with winners today all. I'll be homeward bound in the morning after I've picked up some horse feed, Tescos shopping, spuds from a farm, massive block of cheese at ridiculous price, and my usual fun at negotiating the best euro exchange rate (I love that bit). Then it's a drive down to Portsmouth. Oops that reminds me, I had better book the ferry. If I don't sleep all the way (as I did coming over) I might pop on whilst on the ferry to see what's happening.
Uncle - sorry - never meant to come across that way - been running round like headless chicken all day and but stressed out - apologies
Even if 'you know yourself' it ain't always necessarily so in this game. No such thing as a deadcert wheelbarrow job.
