Did Stan really tweet that? Colly and Wrighty are the two most patriotic Englishmen I've come across but it could be they need some further education r.e.: the correct attitude towards the inhabitants of the island across the pikey sea.
That's not all. He's been at it all weekend. The Zombies supporters trust are trying to get him sacked from talksport for upsetting them.... Oh, and this is racism now: "@lowrypeterlowry: @StanCollymore what happens to the British people in Northern Ireland Stan">**** OFF BACK TO BRITAIN. Also I wouldn't say it's unpatriotic to pretend to like GAA for cash. But you are right, Ian Wright is a patriot. He never took a penny for playing for England. I think it shamed a few of the squad at the time into following suit.
This is all news to me but I wouldn't pay too much heed to Stan's views on oirland. Don't suppose he'd take it too well if someone told him to **** off back to Birmingham.
Maybe but I think the youth should unite behind the Oi! movement and then there will be everlasting peace, brown 19 hole DMs and braces:
That he is. But he doesn't shy away from it. I suppose credit isn't the right word, but I'll use it anyway because I can't find a better one. Credit to him for taking ownership of his misdemeanours.
He's a ****er Reb. I don't think he has taken ownership, he offers up all sorts of excuses. There is no excuse.
I haven't heard excuses or mitigation from him tbh. I wouldn't be the world's biggest fan of talksport but whenever I have heard him talk about it he's always put his hands up. I'm only going on what I've heard from him. It's a hard one because any argument to the contrary sounds like a defence of woman beating. That's not what I'm offering, rather that I have only ever heard Collymore take responsibility for it. If you've heard different, then me telling you otherwise is worth nothing.
Someone phoned up Talk Sport to speak to him once "What a goal Stan - Lampard hit that ball as hard as you hit Ulrika" Almost as good as the time David Mellor was on 606 and said "we've got someone who wants to talk about racism - evening Mark" "No David - i just wanted to say that basically i think you're a ****". Sometimes I think the producers just let it go depending on the presenter in question.....
I don't listen to the station myself but I have heard depression and such like offered up. Guy's a prick.
Tommy Boyd got sacked the night Betty Windsor's mum died. Some guy phoned up to talk about the Royal Family. Boyd just switched off as he thought he was going to get the usual platitudes. The guy got tore into the leeches with Boyd responding "yep" "uh huh" "right"..... Got his jotters the next day.
