Wubba, great to see you too lad. You'll have to stop the Uwe thing though!

Our delayed in-bound flight into Dub yesterday morning didn't start the day off too well. Having too many airmiles under my arse I knew we'd be circling Heathrow and that we had missed our landing slot, and, so be it! So, ScobyRanger and I got into LHR 45 minutes late and arrived into Hennessy's at 12.30ish. I then ran around the pub like a blue-arse fly doing my 'ticketmaster' thing trying to ensure Rangercol and SussexR that I did actually have punters (who had cash to pay) for the tickets they, in good faith, bought for us. I think all cash transactions were duly processed and no-one was out of pocket. Phew! Time for a few quick pints and, yes, I did manage to circle the grub table!

The game? I have one 'I told you so' and one 'Hands up'......

The 'Hands up'? Bobby Z, or as I call him, 'the camel'. He made the 2nd goal for the semi-final win, and the split-second he had yesterday to open his body and foot to drill that ball into the net yesterday was absolute class. I take the Bobby 'camel' Z slagging all back.

The 'I told you so'? Richard Dunne. Yes, I'm Irish. Yes, we have so few top notch payers in the PL we tend to get parochial following Irish players. However, from day 1 when Dunne was signed, I knew he would give his all, that he woud be out-paced by young forwards and that the body wouldn't take the long road. All proved true. However he (and Green) was immense yesterday and crucial to us getting back to the PL next year.

Great day. Wanted to meet all of you yesterday but time didn't allow. Next year!

    Hiya JH23!

Great to see you again yesterday (and your Sis and your Mum).

I showed my daughter the picture of you and your sister wearing the loom bands she made for you. She wanted so much to be there too!

It looks like our lucky loom bands worked, huh? I also gave a black & red one to Mrs SussexR who sits in the same block as you in Loftus Rd. I'm still wearing mine but I'd better take it off when I go back to work! :emoticon-0106-cryin

    See you next season!

From what I know, Carroll was the only loan there. Others may have been but Im sure someone who was there can say for sure.

There's no such things, my random song that woke me up that day was called doom and gloom. It had a 90 to 1 chance of being played.

Just lifted this from the BBC Sport website -

'Rangers' squad boasts a staggering 4,264 Premier League appearances as opposed to a meagre 170 in the Derby squad. They needed all of that ring-craft because in the Rams they faced an opponent that, once over an initial stage fright, took the game to them and started to dominate even before O'Neil's dismissal.

They say that styles make fights and what Saturday offered was a superb contrast; the veteran against the young pretender.'

Shows the difference in age and experience of the two sides

I said with the exception of one who wants to stay....I meant Doyle, who I also think wants to stay, he was playing for his shirt....I had forgotten Kranky I must admit.

I had forgotten Keane as well, another loanee I do not want.

Carroll (who I do like) feels too lightweight (in weight) and Doyle (who has a great heart) also feels too lightweight (in skill) for PL.

I possibly would keep Kranky, but fear his legs are past it

Keane was celebrating as if he was one of us - perhaps he'll be staying? I know he has shown little for us, but I have a feeling he could become a good player.

Quite a few up on eBay, some priced as low as face value, £6.00, some with free shipping within UK.

However the shipping to Canada is a bit ridiculous for most of them, e.g. £14.90 for the one above.

As a souvenir of this memorable occasion I just bought this one for £9.99 with shipping to Canada only £2.50.
