It is better asking yourself what next after promotion a promotion than a relegation. The importance of going up yesterday can't be underestimated. What next? Who bloody cares?! We are Premier League, and a he'll of a lot wiser than last time we were there.

Others can think what they like about us, but its interesting to see what they write on their own boards. Had a quick scan as I was attempting to calm myself down last night - quite extensive threads on the Norwich, Swansea, Southampton and Sunderland boards and they all hate us - though to be fair to Southampton its mainly about Redknapp and Sunderland is more about Barton/cost of another trip to London/general hatred of 'cockneys' (there's ignorance for you). Lots of bitching about money of course. To be honest the chip on shoulder syndrome is their problem, not ours. Lots of them find LR an intimidating place to come to as well. Excellent.

Thanks to the supporters of other teams who have offered their sincere congratulations.

    The good about
Norwich QPR and the Swans promotion charge was IMO the swans
Norwich were never good enough regardless of change and we were the worse experiment of the lot
The swans remained and stuck to a simple footballing theory and good luck to them
We have been given another chance
I don't go for the total band of brothers stuff
I do go for the historical QPR way that today requires maybe a bit of both

I hope we go for grit and flair

That will require new players and a new coach

Taking my cue from your comments I took a gander at the Southampton and Swansea boards. I don't think we'll be getting congratulatory messages anytime soon. It's disappointing how some people need to cling onto something in order to feel the hate. I don't hate anybody, but the bile in some of their posts is just horrible.

Congratulations to all QPR fans wish you all the best next season in the Prem. Unfortunately my team, Bristol Rovers have gone into a different prem. Always liked QPR from the days that we had links in the form of Gerry Francis and Ian Holloway and glad to see that carry on with a certain ex Rovers man in Zamora. Also could you ask 'arry if we could have some of your decent youngsters that we could give first team action to like the kid Hitchcock. Anyway once again congratulations and good luck for next season.

I don't think it's any coincidence that there was only one loanee in that side yesterday.

I pretty much feel the same, except it would be fine if we signed more players but avoided changing the core team too much.

What I mean by that is to buy some younger players and some good squad players who might not slip into the starting 11 straight away and disturb matters but instead take their chance when it comes and prove themselves.

    --------------------------Green------------------------
    Simpson-----------Onuoha---------???--------------Yun
    ---------------------Barton-----Faurlin-----------------
    Phillips--------------------???--------------------Hoilett
    -----------------------Austin---------------------------

We need a new CB and a new creative attacking midfielder imo. We mustn't make massive changes.........again!!

What's wrong with O'Neill? He finally get's played in his rightful position during the playoffs and has kind of been the missing link in terms of making a steady midfield. With that said, I really want to see Faurlin back. But Faurlin is injury prone, sadly.

I'd actually like to see Krancjar in the premier league. I think we'll see some good play by him.

And, as I've said before, we should not replace Hill until we find someone better. We haven't found anyone better in years. If his game declines then we replace him. We don't replace him for the sake of it. His name is just a number.
