You're confusing both reality and your subjective opinion. The latter being your view on Messi over Ronsldo, whilst the former has a process that judges the best player in the World every year - on current form. This year the award - rightly - went to Ronlado, who outshone Messi in all aspects.

Your confused argument as to the difference between the best and who's voted for as the best annually, makes zero sense - as how long is someone deemed to be the best there is? Until someone outshines them is surely the answer and last year, the best player on the planet was Ronaldo- you no doubt disagree because of his United connections or because you've not seen enough of the pair of them to realise it was defo the right call this year.

Yes Ronaldo is an incredible player, but has sadly been around at the same time as one of the best players ever in Messi. He is like Andy Murray really, very very good, but around while the best players have played, still got a couple big awards, but isn't as good as Federer.

 

Just cross fingers that Messi helps Argentina win the world cup this year so it can shut up the people who think Messi is only good with Barcelona.

Ronaldo is just a poor man's Derek Asamoah. Ronaldo has some of the same qualities as Asamoah, just not as good. Also Asamoah is a fine upstanding human being and Ronaldo is just an arse wipe.

 

Ribbery should clear up on the awards next time round
