Premier League giants Chelsea will be the opponents for Matt Bloomfieldâs testimonial at Adams Park on Wednesday 16th July (k.o. 7.45pm). Read more here
With this game coming 2 days after the World Cup Final I'm not expecting too many international players to be on show apart from the England ones who should have been back for a couple of weeks hope I'm wrong on both counts
itll most likely be the ones who went out early or didn't go at all (terry, cech, ba, cole etc).... would love the Wycombe game for one day only to be made up of ex-players that have played with blooms (Williamson, martin, Johnson, senda, bull, Tyson, mooney, mcgliesh etc) but cant see it happening! I hope jose plays at least a couple of his bigger players
Even Chelsea reserves will be full of international players Jose. I'll be there for the game as it's a deserved testimonial for a true WWFC legend. No idea where i'll stay as i can't get back to somerset on public transport so i better start ringing round some old friends in High Wycombe to beg a bed for the night.
hearing that all the money raised from this match will go to the projects in Kenya as well - top stuff blooms!
Why would you want bull to come back after what he said I sure as hell dont good riddence we not forgive we do not forget to use the anonymous line
Nikki bull is a character I find very hard to hate - he showed so much passion for the cause, at times when his colleagues didn't, and had some truly amazing moments - remember that penalty save against crewe and the way he reacted? the trouble is the way he left - he was far too loyal to waddock. Was also interesting to hear him talk about why he left (an interview with Aldershot a little while back) and I can understand his reasons, just not the timing. He would always get a good reception from me if he returns, although I appreciate im in a minority!
thats the thing tho do you rember the first game after waddock left he seemed as if he just didnt care he was only threre for the wage
he only seems to be interested in playing for waddock (remember when he left waddocks Aldershot for Brentford it didn't work out) so I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at oxford I can understand his reasons for leaving (he said he was fed up of players not caring, I remember him saying that he would still be thinking about a defeat after a game but most of his team mates would be on the phone organising a night out like nothing had ever happened before they even got on the bus) but I wish hed done it at the end of the season
