    Snap Scully, it's Mrs W_Y's birthday today. I am cooking lunch for the full W_Y brood, got a lovely rib of beef from the local butchers to have with a nice Burgundy.

    Oh the joys of a good French restaurant. Just come back from one and realize that that is one of the reasons I love living here. The waitress who served us was very tactile and quite delightful. It sounded as if she was spoken for though as a local wanted to know how her baby was doing. :( The food and drink was just as good as she. ;)

    Well you can during the week if you know where to look, but there is no real choice for that amount. For &#8364;12 you will have three or more things to choose from for each course. Sunday the cheaper menu is hidden away, but you can have what takes your fancy at a price. A pichet of house wine, usually decent is about &#8364;5-6 for 50cl.
