Hamilton believes he would have pitted before Sutil's crash if he was still at McLaren: http://t.co/wvZcHushpx #SkyF1 http://t.co/UBglOXgedV First comment was- Go back to Mclaren then dickhead.
I thought Hamilton had grown up but the way he's been going on the last couple of weeks has reminded me a lot of this time three years ago, when he made a series of embarrassing outbursts before, during and after the Monaco grand prix and a poor race. His season completely unravelled after that. He had no need to play mind games with Rosberg, he's got more than enough talent to beat him, all he's done is galvanise his rival and seemingly destabilise himself. I wasn't too impressed with his demeanour after the Spanish GP either, he'd just won his fourth race in a row, taken the lead of the championship and had a face like someone had run over his dog. Awesome result for Marussia. They've made a massive step forward this season and it was only a matter of time before they got a result like this. A bit of a shame about the penalty halving their points tally, such a silly thing to lose a place over. I don't see why they can't serve it during a safety car, you're still potentially losing track position. If Rosberg had done something similar he might have lost the race serving it under the safety car but would've got away with it if it was applied after the race.
@f1elvis: Completely disagree with LH saying McL would've let his strategist fight his team-mate's. Management would always do what's best for team.
But you are becoming one of those irrational haters so you would say that, complete with the insult. Sorry Manny, your attitude this years stinks. For me, Lewis is becoming like Mansell. When everything is going his way he is a pleasure, but if he thinks he's been done a raw deal then he kicks off. I loved Mansell as a driver, and the same with Lewis, but their personality flaws means teams and fans can fall out of love with them.
Its a shame really. I thought this year he would prove me wrong and just conduct himself as a gent whilst bagging the goods . Seems the best car and 4 wins in a row aren't enough. He wanted competition a few weeks a go and Nico has replied.
i think it's the fact nobody else is racing them that's making it worse. Unlike last year where they had to just settle for points and think about what's best for the team, now every weekend they're just racing each other for the win.
Eh I didn't say it I was giving an insight into what is happening on Twitter for anybody that does not have it. Don't put words in my mouth again.
Yeah I think the same ASC, he likes to play up with the crowd but it backfires on him as well same as Nige.
Mansell had a massive fan base. He was loved by many... Yeah he moaned from time to time... But he was pure drama. This is just handbags and vinegar. Baaah!
Alonso has just been chugging along below the radar. I know its still early but to be 3rd in the WDC with that Ferrari is amazing.
No way is Lewis going to leave Mercedes just because of this incident, that is laughable. Give up the best seat that every driver wants? Dream on Alonso and Vettel in my opinion!
No buddy im past that stage haha. I don't warm to Lewis well but I try to find positives every race and be as rational as I can.
Alonso did it in 2007. If Hamilton was to have a 2011-style meltdown and lose the championship I think he'd leave.
