Then you have clearly indulged in selective reading.

You'll be telling me next that Martinez and Rodgers are universally loved here.

    No.

    You're talking rubbish.

Back up the claim with some evidence.

"Laudrup was the best manager we ever had". Actually, you are quite wrong,I said he was the most successful we have ever had.

I know he was sacked, and he has a mega settlement from the clowns who run the Club to show for it. <laugh>

I suspect that Laudrup will earn more in interest from investing his windfall, than you receive from your pension.

So,go eat your heart out. <laugh>

Sorry, breezy, but I don't necessarily agree with you there.

He was loved whilst the side were doing well, but that love soon dissipated, just as with Martinez and Rodgers,at the first convenient opportunity.

I've always held him in the highest esteem,in fact, his behaviour post dismissal shows what an exemplary person he is, A class act,in fact.

As for Uzi,well,my case rests. <laugh>

He and Dai belong in Room 101. <whistle>

Laudrup was given a chance like all new managers would have had and he ended up found wanting as not the right manager for us. That does not mean he cant be a success with another club as nobody knows until he has tried but for us then no way, he was not our type of manager and he ended up making the club so unhappy with his idea of managerial ways. That is why over 70% wanted him gone. It was not a blip like all clubs go through it was a lot more than that to go a year without performing to the standard we all know that gave us great success like winning the league cup....If he never changed things after that win then he may still be here today...

Well,Dai,imho that's the most tempered and reasonable post you have made with regards to the Laudrup sacking scenario.

See what you can do when you try.

I don't know where you get 70% from, probably the same place that Dragon got his "1% of people are Atheists". <laugh>

If you want evidence why not go and plough through all the posts/threads that have appeared post the sacking of Laudrup.

If it's that easy why don't you do it.

You made the nasty little claim.

It's all about opinions really but it's an undeniable fact, not opinion, that Laudrup was our most successful manager in our history regardless of what happened thereafter.

I cant agree with that as he was sacked and you don't get sacked if you are successful do you...he ended up 2 points from relegation so where you find any success in that is beyond me...

Just your opinion that it's a fact.
