Hold on, is this a friendly or what? I'm deffo going, I live in Bournemouth and have been going to their games for a while!
I'm going as well. Assuming we're not all staying in someone's house any recommendations on hotels? I know you're spoiled for choice down there but due to the time of year I'm guessing the rooms would have to be booked early.
A lot of the B&B's don't like visitors for one night only in the summer (especially if in a group), so you may have to book in for the weekend or try some of the bigger hotels. It's bound to be a bit pricey in late July/early August wherever you stay. You could always ask 'Arry for a sleepover - he lives in Sandbanks!
I'm drinking yours Seems strange to have no news about the date though......I'm a bit concerned that it's a non starter
I'm sure I can see you on here never.........

I'm honestly not totally sure - there's loads to choose from and I've never really had to look at hotels in Bournemouth - but there are plenty of hotels near the seafront and town centre, where you can get fairly regular buses to Bournemouth train station. From there its like a 20 minute walk to the ground, a very simple route which you can look up online. What he said! I hadn't even heard about it until I saw this thread. http://www.afcb.co.uk/news/article/...outh-amongst-pre-season-fixtures-1577385.aspx CONFIRMED! By the way, on the topic of that video earlier...Bournemouth has a really popular clubbing scene and there are attractive foreign women everywhere. So you know, if you're staying for an evening...
I was hoping it was a week earlier to be honest Cherry. I visit the South Coast once or twice a year as I have family members there and always call into Bournemouth. I am likely to be there the week before the match so I'm a bit gutted...but you never know, the lure of Clubbing and attractive women ....
