i think we're all still trying to get our heads round the decision but there's nothing we can do about it now - we just have to wait and see if it was inspired or idiotic. i'm far more interested now in the type of player he tries to add to the squad. will it be youngsters from the lower leagues, proven championship players, old heads, premier league failures, a mix of everything?

crowey, i don't know what your problem is with me, but if you are not interested in anything i say that's fine - i am not offended. but just ignore me - why bother to post a stupid comment on a thread where clearly some people have found it interesting enough to make sensible comments?

if you disagree with what i say, argue against it.

if you aren't interested in what i say, ignore it.

better still, write your own views down in your own post so that people can debate.

You know what,I will tell you!
Most of your comments are well written and spot on.But the one i commented on came across as self indulgent and the fact that it looks like ive offended you proves it.
Take a look back at it and see hoew it comes across.

are you talking about my opening post on this thread?

if you are, maybe you have failed to take the full context into account, baring in mind on a different thread the previous day i had expressed my utter dismay and anger at the decision to appoint neil adams and after having a bit of a rant, posted on that thread that i wanted to sleep on it and write a more positive post the following morning, which then got put on hold as i was even more peeved at the rumour about steve foley returning! all i did was try to find some positives rather than continue with the stream of negatives that were doing the rounds. i'm not sure i even convinced myself that there were many positives but i found a few and posted them. there was nothing self indulgent about it, other than the fact any post anybody tends to write is their own viewpoint. my pre amble was merely setting the scene from the previous days rant.

It's a bit like when you receive a text message - you just read it quickly and 'speed read' it, so you get misunderstandings arise. :emoticon-0150-hands

I can't claim originality for this, (I read this on another site) but let me add another positive, Superman. Most of our good managerial appointments have been internal or people who were virtually unknown. When we've gone for an experienced 'safe pair of hands', it generally hasn't worked (Hughton, Rioch, Roeder).

And, like Resurgam, I always read an entire thread before I post. How can anyone genuinely RESPOND if they don't?
