If it was, at least he was more subtle about it than Schuey was. Can't see it being proved anyway so Rosberg will keep his pole, otherwise another precedent is set for anyone else who has a mistake on their final lap which guaranteed them pole or a decent position.
Does it have to be that way? Can they not investigate independently if they deem necessary? Mercedes won't have done it and presumably Hamilton could not do it without Mercedes permission?
Oh I am fanboy...I like how you guy label people when you are losing an argument.... Read this. Maybe Wolff is a fanboy too? If the team said it I think I would tend to believe them wouldn't you? "On the starts we have a problem on Nico's car," Wolff said. "It seems to be a problem related to the clutch. That is a special project of ours; we expected some improvement for Barcelona which didn't kick in as expected. We just need to sort it out for Monaco because that's crucial there and we discussed it in the debrief."
Not sure that's quite true, I think most teams just point things out to make sure. An incident as obvious as this probably doesn't need pointing out.
Why? It's still Mercedes domination and there's only 3 points between them. The race may still be a procession but with Ros/Ham instead of Ham/Ros. It's a shame that it has taken the shine off Nico's pole. It would have been better for all if he had got it without this controversy.
All the Hamilton fans I can see on here are saying it was a genuine mistake so how about you get over it?
It makes tomorrow interesting. Will Lewis be fiesty? What will he try? Better than a predictable Hamilton pole and win.
Can both Mercs be disqualified? Rosberg for making an error, and Hamilton for being a whiny bitch? Might make tomorrow's race more exciting.
If you were following the posts above you would see the point..... What I was saying is what you said there... There was a problem with Rosberg's clutch and the team was trying to sort it out during the last tests.
I can see tears at the first corner. Lewis is definitely pissed about this and will want to try and get one back on Rosberg tomorrow if he felt Rosberg played games today.
Vettel was 4kph slower than Daniel in the speed trap with his power unit problem. http://www.formula1.com/results/season/2014/920/7346/speed_trap.html
No, you were saying that Lewis was helping Nico with his starts! Not developing or looking at components for improvements across the cars. Originally Posted by dhel Can you remember Hamilton having any problems with his starts this year? Who had the problems again? Lol
