That said, I know that Neil is desperate to do well and will put his heart and soul into the job. As he said; "It's my club", "I'm also a fan".

My gripe is with the board and the way they have handled this and with Bowkett coming out and saying that they 'scoured Europe and the British Isles' in their search for a new manger, well that really is taking the piss.

I wish Neil well and all the luck in the world, I fear he's going to need it working with a board like ours.

He may have been the cheapest option but I really don't think he really was first choice. I still think the job was Malkie's if he wanted it, but he wanted to keep his options open, and it backfired on him. Maybe next time

Maybe I should write to Mr Bowkett and tell him that I can personally vouch that there is no one suitable for the post in Vietnam. I'm sure Thai can vouch the same for Thailand. Then Mr Bowkett can tell the fans that they've scoured the whole of Europe and the British Isles and south-east Asia in their untiring effort on behalf of the fans.

 

Adams may do ok but i cant see it myself. Norwich have gone in to fast there without weighing up the options who was available. but as the choice has now been made then norwich fans should just accept it now and back Adams 100% and forget what may have been...the board have their reasons..

 

You could say Dai, that Swansea have gone the same way by appointing internally, but you did it earlier when problems with Laudrup were emerging, unlike our clowns in charge.

As you say though the decision is made now and we need to get behind the the team from the off, but our ridiculous board have set him up badly as there is a simmering anger amongst a good many of fans around the decision making, transfer bungles, how Adams was appointed and the on going stupid comments being made by board members that are only adding to the scepticism.

If we do not getting wining games ( Adams has not won a game yet, admittedly against difficult opposition) and scoring again there will be trouble. Adams has to get off to a flyer and basically keep it going or you will see bad blood emerging from the terraces much quicker than with Hughton.
