Lots of reasons, and Im not overly fond of Derby either but this does it for me. Any club that tries to do it this way deserves contempt imo. Ring any bells? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27538802
I haven't even clicked the link, but I know the story because I read it last night. Absolutely hate that club. Have done for years. They should be forced to pay-up the £50 million (or thereabouts) that they owe to the Football League through breach of FFP. Especially as I'm pretty sure that I read that the fines from FFP go to charity. If they're going to gamble and essentially cheat their way to the Premier League by not adhering to the rules that Derby have abided by, then they should be forced to stump up the fine and pay the consequences whether they've been promoted or not. I'm DCFC all the way today. For 90 minutes today (plus a possible further 30 and Shootout), I'm a Ram for the good of football.
Horrible club with horrible fans, of all the places I have been away this is the only club that i have experienced problems and that was with my 12 year old son with e. they just dont care. I just hope that they lose and lose well today. I hate the idea that clubs are allowed to run up such debt in pursuit of the PL, whilst well run clubs in the championship struggle to survive in that league. I am with both above pay off your fine or no promotion. As BK says it is cheating their way to promotion.
Loftus Rd is a nice old-fashioned ground though. Right on top of the action. Don't like these new grounds with big gaps around the pitch.
Do Isee that the big London club, who have all the way from The Bush to wembley, havent sold all their seats. For shame on you.
Nobody gives a monkeys what you think. You still can't let go of something that happened many many years ago can you. The bitterness and envy of our respective positions today must be eating you away and that suits most of us just fine. Now continue to derail and I'll be asking for a ban so judge your next comment very carefully. To quote your comment to me on your board recently...."**** off" and "stop whining". Think that's a direct quote. QPR down to 10 men
Nothing off topic about it, so no ban will be given It is a fair point, and we would say the same if it was Cardiff saying it.
Nothing to do with not letting anything go or your current position. I have no bitterness toward Swansea and my point is legitimate, how can you moralise about other clubs when your club hasn't covered itself in glory? If you are going to post such comments accept there is an alternative view. I am not whining or complaining about anything. But you have proved my point about your whining.
Your call, but I didn't say he'd said anything off topic only that if he carried on I'd ask for a ban. View attachment 31544 Am I the only one sick to death of that poxy record some of them still trot out? Derby turning up the heat.
I see derailing in a similar light as off topic posts. Maybe its just me. We are no different with Cardiff, its part of the rivalry, and I ain't stopping it, different if it was every thread and all that crap, but its not.
Swansea's debt was 1.4 million, hardly the figures that are being talked about now. The figures owed by clubs chasing the pl and trying to stay there are obscene. Clubs with those sorts of debt should not be allowed to get promoted at the expense of well run clubs. Taff, quite rightly you have the right to poit out this, but 2 wrongs dont make a right and the difference between the 2 circumstances are so far apart it is pathetic to compare. Ours was brought on by a club trying to survive and keep trading the other is self inflicted by chasing a distant dream.
