Were they not reporting it as £50m on Sky yesterday afternoon? Seen nowt since so may have been initially exaggerated. Good business either way for Chelsea.
He reminds me of a Paul McShane with skill and passing ability - no matter how well he plays you ALWAYS think he's got a massive error in him and will cost you the game at any point. The difference is McShane plays for us and would cost £500k to buy, whereas somehow top clubs rate Luiz and he'll earn 500k in a month.
i think in JM's eyes he is a defensive liability that wont/can't defend his way . I like Luiz though but not £40 mill or £50 mill worth by any stretch !!! It must put Our Curtis Davies price into the £8-10 mill mark and now look cheap
PSG paying stupid money, Sky reporting £50 million. How does this keep them in line with FFP? Also talk that Blanc is a fan of Hazard, so if Man City have been restricted to £80 odd million they can spend, then how to PSG get away with this & then possibly huge spend on Hazard? I'm sure even if they don't get him there will be more money to spend by them. I don't hear of any outgoings for significant fees, just seem to be releasing players.
I'm surprised Cavani and Luiz isn't a straight swap deal. He's almost certain to leave and his signing alone would win Chelsea the title.
Well they're not getting away with it are they? They've already been punished the same as Man City and they're probably just thinking the same punishment next season is fine as well. Why do people always think the English clubs / national side are more hard done by? On another note, where do said fines go? UEFA coffers? And then to do what?
Platini makes sure they're well wrapped in cotton wool. Apparently he stepped in and, despite their 'crime' being identical to Man City's, got let off with a wink and a €20m fine whilst Man City had to pay £50m and have all sorts of squad restrictions forced on em for the champions league.
the man himself has said on numerous occasions about his dislike of the English teams dominance - now the lampshade faced turd can effect his hump
True, but if reports are right that they have agreed a deal with Costa, they're not going to both come and one sit on the bench.
I find it ridiculous them going for Costa. Costa reminds me very much of Torres but, if I'm honest, I actually think Torres is better. Quite a bit better. They should just command the return of Lukaku who can begin to fill Drogbas empty boots. Lukaku has it all.
I hadn't seen Costa play this year until he started receiving recognition. I remember last year, I watched him having seen Liverpool linked and he was ****e.
He'll either score the winner in the WC Final or give a goal away and lose it dribbling in his own 6 yard box or a suicidal back pass.
Dig out the 'numerous' quotes please where he says "I dislike English teams' dominance". It'd be a hell of a thing considering there is no English teams dominance in any way, shape or form
