    Played Curtis.

Like this bit "And he may be the only player ever interviewed immediately after losing an FA Cup final to casually but correctly use the conjunctive adverb "therefore".

Not good enough for England though apparently.

    I hate Woy.

Just confirms what we all knew anyway. It also highlights a fundamental flaw in how the England management select players. Surely as a fan you want the best players the manager has available to him in Brazil, Curtis should be there, not making up the numbers either. Well done Curtis, shame on you FA morons.

"Somewhat unlucky"!!!!! Its a bloody travesty that he's not going to Brazil. Everyone except that idiot Hodgson. and the moron from Leicester who keeps polluting this board with his crap opinions, knows that Curtis is far better than Smalling and Jones (Caulker don't even mention that name in my presence). Damn....I am angry as hell that Curtis has not got the international recognition he deserves. What more can the man do?????

I can imagine that if all the current defenders in the England squad got injured, Woy would still call up big team youths.

I look at England's defense and can't help, but laugh at the fact that Smalling is in there and Davies gets completely ignored.

Frankly Smalling is not good enough, I bet that Van Gaal will soon find out and weed him out ( along with Cleverley). Phil Jones on what I have seen so far is not as good at Centre back than Curtis, though he is adaptable and can play other positions. Curtis should be there, but in a way I am glad he is not, as at least he will be fresh for us next season.

The only thing, and I repeat ONLY thing, that could be in Smalling's favour is that he does have experience of playing RB. Woy is taking Baines and Shaw for LB but only Johnson for on the right.

He's got some experience, but he's ****ing **** there. The only reason he plays there is because he's not good enough to start at CB and they often have no RB.

I'd rather have Davies at RB than Smalling come to think of it.

I'd rather have Rosie at RB than either
