Hull City have announced their retained list for the upcoming 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season.

Discussions are currently on-going with Matty Fryatt, Eldin Jakupovic and Joe Dudgeon over new contracts to remain at the Club.

Steve Harper’s contract has been automatically extended for a further year, after an appearance-based clause was activated within his original 12-month deal.

However, Robert Koren and Abdoulaye Faye will not be offered new deals and will now leave the KC Stadium.

The Club have made new contract offers to seven members of the Tigers’ Development Squad. They are: Will Aimson, Ben Clappison, Matty Dixon, Calaum Jahraldo-Martin, John Mahon, Jonathan Margetts and Sam Topliss.

Joe Cracknell, Conor Townsend and Johan Ter Horst are already under contract to be part of the Development Squad for the 2014/15 season.

However, the following players will be allowed to leave when their current contracts expire: James Armstrong, Jack Barlow, Danny Chambers, Matthew Fletcher, Conor Henderson, Elliot Kebbie, Paul McElroy and Dougie Wilson.

From the Academy, five players have earned professional deals and will move up to Stephen Clemence’s Development Squad, while two will see their time at at the club come to an end.

Those with new contracts are: Max Clark, Rory Watson, Leon Dawson, Ryan Fallowfield and Eoghan McCawl while Sam O’Connor and Niall Doran have not been offered professional deals.

The Club would like to thank those players released for their services, whilst also wishing them every success for the future.

It seems strange that Max Clark hasn't had more opportunities considering the fact that only a couple of years ago he was on a similar level to Luke Shaw in the England setup, playing above his age group at times

I think he's still a year younger than Shaw.

Although he can no longer cut it at the level we're at now, I'll never forget Faye absolutely embarrassing Kevin Davies when we beat them 3-1 at the KC a couple of years back. Davies was **** scared and whining to the ref after he got owned on a couple of long balls. Faye scored too.

    Cheers big fella.

I'm a bit concerned about how PT is going to react when he hears we've released Dougie Wilson.

Will miss big Abdoulah - he served us well, hope he's made enough to have a decent retirement, and also that Koren gets another club and a few more pay days, a real asset to the club in his time here.

The last minute winner vs Watford was the highlight for me.

Big thanks go out to Faye and Koren – both served the club with dignity and I’ll always remember their contributions.

It’s a shame about some of the youngsters although I must confess my ignorance as I don’t ever watch the youth team so I’m in no place to judge. But, thinking about the likes of Jack Barlow, who reportedly cost us circa 100k around 5 years ago, and the alleged potential of Elliot Kebbie, it just demonstrates how quick things can change in youth football.

I’d also like to see Max Clark given more responsibility in the coming season, with a loan and/or Carling Cup appearances – I take it he’s left school now.

Only 6 months younger and as far as I can tell Clark was being played at LB ahead of Shaw for the U16s at the time

His diving header vs Leeds a few days later was my fave Faye moment.

Barlow never really made the grade, he would have been released at the end of last season if it wasn't for the fact that he a clause in his contract where we had to give him at least one year on a pro contract.

A mate of mine played against Kebbe, he said he was ridiculously quick, but utterly useless with the ball at his feet.

I was travelling back from Finland when we played Leicester and he scored that last minute screamer but it's still my favourite.

    All the best Rob.

Top pro and top, top bloke.

They've both been great servants to the club. Like Macca, my fave Faye moment was the header at Leeds.

Favourite Koren goal will always be the winner v Leicester. I remember the sense of justice in winning that match after the extreme negative tactics employed by Pearson after going down to 10. For some reason I also remember the goal v Millwall, (I think) - probably for being the most direct Route one goal ever.

Best of luck to both of them.

Thanks for all the memories Big Abi and Robbie K. Good luck with your futures. Wembley was not a bad place to end your Hull City careers either.

Fav Faye game was Everton away this season when he reduced Lukaka to nothing. Lukaku was subbed.
Koren's moment has to be the winner against Lesta without a doubt. Pure class that goal after a good build up.

    All the best chaps.

That last one is a great corner from Brady, shame he wasn't very consistent with them when he played this season, and for some reason Tom isn't very good at them either.
